I previously worked with the account manager but knew they did great work.

We had a discovery call so they could understand our needs before providing a quote. I received 3 total quotes from different vendors that were all similar in scope and price. I asked for references in which 3Sixty provided me the fastest and also had the some great references. We chose to go with them from there. We scheduled the kickoff call and away we went. We met several times over the next couple months as we moved through the project before completing.

We walked away with a great website that we're comfortable working with and making changes to as needed. We're confident we can reach out to 3Sixty if we have any needs in the future.

The workflow was great and everything went as planned. We may have gotten a couple weeks behind but that was all on my end.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very organized and transparent from the start all the way to the end of the project. I know I can pick up the phone and get them on the line if I should ever need them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They were super easy to work with throughout the entire process.

We hired 3Sixty to redesign and update our website and make it look better.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had a few meetings to discuss what I wanted the website to look and feel like to viewers and how I wanted the site to function. They took my ideas into account and presented a few examples of designs based on my requirements. Then, I told them what I liked about each design, and they combined those aspects to create the website we have now. I shared the copy and verbiage from our old website because I didn’t have time to go through and rewrite everything, so they used our original content for the redesign.

They integrate the website tags and manage conversion optimization. We are on the second or third phase of website improvement, but beyond that, they host the site, ensure it’s secure, and handle support requests. 

They also help consult with us on our digital advertising. We discussed keyword research, what needs to be on the website, how people search for it, and how they find us. We use Meltwater to schedule our social media content, and the platform monitors topics people are discussing online in our area. We share those words with 3Sixty, and they make sure to include them in blogs we publish.

I work with three people consistently, Dean (Owner), Karl (Digital Marketing Specialist), who helps us when we need to change or update the site, and a customer representative.

They have a really good reputation in our community. I followed them online, looked at what they do for other organizations, and conducted behind-the-scenes research. Then, we met with them a few times and moved forward from there.

We’ve invested about $45,000 with them.

We started working together in February 2019, and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We went from having a few hundred monthly visitors to our website to a few thousand visitors. Now we have an online appointment scheduling tool through our website, and it’s responsible for attracting nearly 1,000 new patients.

We constantly receive positive comments about how great our website looks and how professional it is. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked with Karl to create a whole COVID-19 section on the website. With their help, we uploaded so much data and information to our site, and we became a leader in our community regarding education and information about safety measures, testing, and vaccines. We are still working to keep it updated. They’ve allowed us to improve our credibility in the community and present a more professional website that reflects a defined brand, which is exactly what I wanted. 

They’re also great to work with, and they’re not siloed in what they provide to us. I keep going back because they not only help with the website and marketing, but they go beyond that. We have conversations about how the website can best work with other outlets, such as our social media and traditional earned media. We strategize how we can utilize our presence on every platform to improve our marketing as a whole. They go much further and do so much more than just web design.  

How did 3Sixty Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

They always meet deadlines early and stay within budget. They’re very conscientious about everything they do, ensuring we’re happy with the deliverables and that they meet our needs. 

We use Zoom and phone calls to communicate and have meetings. We have a standard monthly meeting where they go over the website metrics, and we compare what is and isn’t working. We also discuss how to improve and grow our reach. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their main strength is their customer service, by far. They do a lot more than just help with our website. They can do videos, digital advertising, and web hosting, and they’re so knowledgeable when it comes to marketing our entire portfolio. 

We were doing a Google Ads campaign through a radio station, which was not working correctly. The 3Sixty team was willing to meet with the radio station to try and figure out what was going wrong. Even though 3Sixty could have profited off it, they never even approached that. They never insulted the radio station; instead, they stepped in to help get to the bottom of the problem and figure out how to fix it. The radio station never resolved the issue, and I left. 

We didn’t end up using 3Sixty for Google Ads because it was a separate package for another outlet, but they figured out the problem for us, and I think that says a lot about them as an organization. You don’t see that very often.

Are there any areas they could improve?

My constructive feedback would be to add action items to the report we get every month. It’s great when we go over the report metrics, but I’d like them to include concrete tips and ideas for improvement. For example, if our bounce rate is falling, they could add instructions for us to improve that. Sometimes when we have time, we do go over that, but it would be great to have a page that lists what we need to do to improve each month.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice would be to make sure you’re very forthright in what you want because the team appreciates that. Start with a big picture if you don’t know how to talk about web design and advertising. I’m not knowledgeable about websites and designs or how they work, and I was honest about that. I know what I want and if I like what I see. Even if you’re not an expert, they are.

Let them do what they need to, and don’t be afraid to explain what you want.

The Metroparks is a regional park system delivering quality outdoor recreation opportunities to southeast Michigan residents and visitors. I am the Chief of Marketing and Communication there.

We have a modest budget with high demands of growing brand awareness, driving attendance and increase program registration. We hired 3Sixty interactive to coordinate placement and optimization of digital and social ads to achieve those goals on digital platforms.

We used a form RFP process bid through MITTN. Biggest deciding factors were expertise in the field, estimated reach for the budget we had available, creativity of solutions, proven optimization with other clients and previous experience working with them in the past.

We worked with them to create a formal and detailed working plan that broke our budget down monthly and then assigned how much of that monthly budget would be used on various platforms to accomplish our goals.

We then have monthly update calls to review progress and results and adjust the upcoming month. Our organization does provide all content and artwork for ads to maintain brand consistency.

We work primarily with on person on the team, Dean, who is a partner, but I believe he has others on his team that help with oversight on our account.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

we have been pleased with the results share with us which includes higher than average CTR and engagement on certain ad types. Particularly those related to golf and specific events. In the last 2.5 years our brand awareness has increased by 12% as measured by public polling questions that are statistically significant.

Digital is not the only piece to that puzzle, but it is a piece.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our monthly check-ins and process seems to be highly effective for us and our workflow.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their personal approach and small team atmosphere make it easy to build a relationship and feel comfortable that the rep you are working with isn't changing and truly understands your account. It's not a big firm where you're constantly switching account reps.

It allows questions to be answered quickly and adjustments to be made in real time - not 3 months later when it's too late.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We have been happy with their services throughout the partnership

I’m the executive director of a public charity. Our role is to help community members achieve their philanthropic goals and align these with the broader outcomes of the community. I manage the early childhood portfolio for mainly our two demonstration schools, and by partnering with them, strive to improve statewide policies in practice.

3Sixty Interactive has provided all of our back-office support for communications, from creating a flyer for a parent event to structuring and laying out strategic plans. The team has helped us manage posts for our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts and developed a website for one of our demonstration schools. 

The team has done videos that explain different aspects of our work and share student stories. In terms of scripting, we use an open-ended format; they are in charge of all the production processes, including several rounds of editing with feedback from us. 

They write content and support us in laying out the newsletters. The staff has gone a step further and has actually met with individuals to understand what the stories are and suggest a communication strategy. We are currently working on a communication project in which our goal is to reengage donors and stakeholders that are not as active as they used to be.

In general, we’ve been measuring the success of the partnership by their outputs — like annual reports, monthly and quarterly newsletters, and video productions. 3Sixty Interactive has been quite effective at achieving the goals that we have set forth in the design phase of each project and has delivered high-quality products as well. 

The staff is irreplaceable by now, and the partnership has been a win for us in terms of value and ROI.

How did 3Sixty Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a one-hour weekly meeting with 3Sixty Interactive where we check how the projects are going and provide feedback to keep processes moving. In case we have any requests, the team has a general support email to contact them, and they pass the information to the corresponding department — I find this method to be very effective. 

We use Google Docs and Google Sheets to do annual reports, collect content for newsletters, and create any other needed documents. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

One of the most impressive and valuable aspects of 3Sixty Interactive is their willingness to go back to the drawing board if necessary. We’ve had several iterations on projects that started in one direction and had to be done from scratch because I didn’t like the final product. This positive approach has allowed us to engage with their staff as if they were members of our internal team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The team could improve on their journalistic skills and the quality of their writers. They should be able to bring a story to life rather than merely reporting the facts.

What was the scope of their involvement?

3Sixty Interactive (3Sixty) does all of the SEO and changes out whatever promotions we’re displaying on the website. In terms of digital marketing, they do all of our Google Ads, as well as YouTube advertising.

Also, they actually helped us develop our brand new site, which was a big improvement. They didn’t build it from scratch; they worked with a third party who provides sites for stores like ours. However, 3Sixty customized it and did a lot of the technical work, so they did everything to get it up and running. We’ve had occasional issues, but they’ve been with the other company. They host the website, and 3Sixty communicates with them to get the results.

We work mainly with one of the owners, but sometimes there are a couple of other people.

We have Zoom calls once a month. Anytime we think of a new idea or want something from them, we shoot them an email; they’re very responsive.

I’m the president of a building exterior restoration and maintenance company. We work in locations throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

We don’t really have a marketing department. I’m not that tech-savvy, but one of the members of my IT team was quick to recommend 3Sixty Interactive when we wanted to focus on digital marketing initiatives.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They had worked with our IT department three years ago to help rebuild our website, so we brought them back in to help with continuous upgrades and maintenance for the site. The site was built in WordPress.

When they came back to help us with the site, we also asked them to help us define an overall digital marketing strategy. With their coaching, we’ve worked to figure out how to approach the different market segments within our target customer base. They’ve also helped us with outreach. For instance, we supply them with content that is then sent out in email blasts to direct traffic to our website. They track all relevant metrics related to the engagement as well.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We don’t track any metrics related to the engagement internally, but they provide us with regular metrics updates. One statistic that stands out to me is that our emails are getting about a 15% put-through rate.

We weren’t doing any digital marketing activities before partnering with them, so we’ve been really happy with what they’ve been able to do so far. Since we’re not marketing people, the insight and feedback their team has been able to give us are invaluable.

How did 3Sixty Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

Dean has a great team working with him, and he clearly leads them well. Working together, we’ve been able to take ideas I wouldn’t have known how to make real and turn them into legitimate marketing content. We have a weekly Zoom meeting where they provide relevant feedback and updates. Outside of these meetings, we communicate via Microsoft Teams. We use Loomly to schedule social media posts as well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The consistency with which they’ve worked to keep the project on track has stood out. We’re definitely getting strong value out of our weekly meetings.

It’s a little early for me to say if they could do anything differently. I’ve been pleased so far.

Make the commitment to doing the weekly calls and listening to their feedback and suggestions. It may seem like a lot, but their team will do everything they can to help you get acclimated to the world of digital marketing.

There were multiple challenges that we were trying to address with 3SixtyInteractive, including refreshing our outdated website to help us achieve a better web presence. The scope was pretty encompassing and entailed a complete rebuild of our website and the content that was included in our web pages. They didn’t simply refresh what we had in place and worked towards creating a new platform. 

For the website, the team continues to improve what we’ve built. We also have an active digital marketing campaign with 3SixtyInteractive which involves scheduled social media posts, SEO, content generation, and more. They also perform design services including graphic design and document design.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

For content generation, there’s no objective metric against which we measure against. However, our management does review the vast majority of the content they've generated, and we hold 3SixtyInteractive in high regard for what they produce for us.

On the other hand, for awareness and traffic generation to our website, we’ve seen a substantial increase. I don’t have the exact numbers, but we track their performance through Google Analytics and other sources. Our social media presence has also dramatically increased. 

Overall, external stakeholders say that our website is very professional-looking,  provides a great message, and helps us build our brand.

How did 3SixtyInteractive perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve outperformed expectations many times. I have never been in a position where I feel like I’m waiting for 3SixtyInteractive to deliver something. Instead, it’s always the opposite because Dean and his team are trying to extract information from us and help us out, and we tend to be the bottleneck in the process.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a highly capable organization that has a lot of arrows in their quiver.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Perhaps, the portal where we interact can be upgraded or expanded to be all-encompassing. It will be helpful to have a one-stop-shop and have one link between 3SixtyInteractive and us because there are just multiple platforms where we interact with each other. However, I haven’t found it to be detrimental to anything that we’ve done.

Be prepared to step up to the plate. If you’re looking to improve your digital presence and marketing, it is incumbent upon you to put in the effort to get the results that you want.

3Sixty Interactive provides a comprehensive digital marketing package that includes web design, social management, and search strategy. Rather than asking for specific deliverables, we typically discuss the areas where we need support, and they determine the right metrics to target.

One of our major projects involved rebuilding our website to be more secure. The team integrated tools to help us monitor our online promotions and coupons in addition to updating our information. They’ve since continued to administer our site and update it as needed.

In terms of digital marketing, they handle our local search, paid search, and automated emails. They also go over our online reviews to track our brand image and manage our Facebook posts. Recently, we’ve started implementing display ads.

They’ve been an enormous help. We’ve seen far more traffic and engagement on our site than ever before, and our display ads are helping with visibility, too. 3Sixty Interactive is especially good at managing social media and getting customers involved. As for emails, they’ve helped us with the content and scheduling, which has increased our open rates.

How did 3Sixty Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

I call Dean once a week to go over our plans and address anything that needs attention. It’s a great way to communicate and keeps me on top of our efforts.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their customer service is great, and they’re very responsive. If I ever need something outside of our weekly calls, I know I can email Dean and his team, and they’ll take care of it immediately. There have been times when I’ve had issues on the weekend, and they’ve resolved them quickly.

No, not at the moment. They handle a lot of things for me, so I’m not sure if there’s anything else I could ask of them.

We used Teamwork and Launchpad project management software to centralize communication. Based on our established project timeline, we coordinated tasks and due dates.
