We needed to outsource some of our clients' design and development projects.

What was the scope of their involvement?

14 Nodes designs and develops our clients’ iOS and Android applications, and they also design and develop web apps and websites. Additionally, they’re in charge of some of our clients’ UI/UX and wireframes designs. We get the requirements from our clients and pass them on to their team.

For web development, they normally use Angular on the frontend and Node.js and Java on the backend.

What is the team composition?

We work with 5–10 people from 14 Nodes, depending on the delivery time needed for each project. Their team includes senior developers, junior developers, and designers, depending on the requirements, and we also have one project manager per project.

We create sprints based on our clients’ requirements. Then, we assign 14 Nodes’ resources to the projects. We use Jira to manage the project, and every 1–2 days, we have a call with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

14 Nodes is very good, and we haven’t had any delays.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. Everything is good.

I’m the director of a software development company. We provide end-to-end web and mobile solutions to customers, many of which are in the US.

We hired them to provide skillsets we didn't have in-house such as Node.js and AngularJS development skills.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

14 Nodes is developing the platform of one of our third-party clients who's in the insurance industry. The solution will help them manage all of their activities. It also has a self-service mobile app for their customers.

We've provided 14 Nodes with the documentation and wireframes in the beginning. Meanwhile, we've completed all the UI/UX design internally and provided it to 14 Nodes.

What is the team composition?

An AngularJS developer, a Node.js developer, and an iOS developer are working on our project. We also have a project manager.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m very satisfied with 14 Nodes’ work. Thanks to them, we’ve received good feedback from our clients. They’ve delivered everything on time and have produced good quality outputs. As an example, they verify all test cases and implement necessary corrections. We also have a demo link where we can see their work before it goes live.

How did 14 Nodes IT Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

We follow an agile methodology and we work in sprints. On top of that, we’re using Jira for tracking, and we have daily standing meetings over Microsoft Teams. We also use email for communication. Overall, everything seems to be good.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have very good teamwork; they’re collaborative and supportive. Above all, they’re always available when we need something. They’re experts when it comes to Node.js, AngularJS, and mobile app development. Overall, I’ll definitely refer them to others.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think so.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

The most important thing is to work as a team. You need to define their roadmap and provide all the necessary documentation.

I am Adil Bukhari founder of White & Grey Energy Services. We at White & Grey Energy Services work to provide (ELV) Extra Low Voltage and Electrical & Automation Designing solutions to our customers. We have a customer base in varied sectors across Gujarat, India.

We have a strong market presence in terms of automation and electrical services in the major cities of Gujarat, India. In order to expand our working portfolio in different cities, we want to have a strong presence on the internet demonstrating our strength and demonstrated by our testimonials from past clientele on the web.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

A friend of mine had consulted Nazeer for his business website development and he referred Nazir for my project and after a couple of meetings and discussions, we decided to go ahead with 14 Nodes.

Initially, I was in touch with Nazeer as he had discussed and understood my requirement for the website. After that, I was in touch with the project manager, developer, and designer till the end of the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I really liked the design and content of my website and linking the website with the Google search engine help my customer to easily find us on the web. (Which was the sole motive of the project)

They are highly organized when it comes to project execution and delivery. The project manager was constantly in touch with me and always update the progress of my website.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their teamwork and dedication towards the work were impressive, the company's Founder to the Junior designer was highly skilled.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I am completely satisfied by their work hence don't find any areas for improvement.
