We hired 10decoders to help us develop a healthcare product by providing software consulting support. Aside from that, they helped us put together an app and migrate it to the Cloud. They managed this app on AWS. We had weekly demos of end-user testing.

I knew one of their founders through my time at another financial company, so I was already aware of the services they provided. When we needed this particular service, I didn't hesitate to reach out to them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our core metrics of success included the quality of their work and its impact on end users. 10decoders did an excellent job on both. I've already recommended them to acquaintances who could benefit from their services.

How did 10decoders perform from a project management standpoint?

10decoders performed well in terms of project management. They tracked tasks and deliverables effectively and were incredibly proactive and straightforward throughout the project. 

We used email, Google Meet, and Skype for communication and Asana for project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their pricing was great for the level and quality of the resources they provided. The quality of work they delivered exceeded my expectations.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their employee turnover ratio could be better.

Be clear and upfront with your expectations. Make sure you stay engaged throughout the process because you know your business better.

We needed quick help with a React project for our US-based customers.

10decoders provided staff augmentation services in a managed service model. We had two separate engagements: one was for our healthcare customer, and the other was for a banking customer. Our customers provided all the documentation, and 10decoders provided development services.

I reached out to a couple of people. I knew 10decoders had the capabilities, so I reached out to them. I told them the budget and what we wanted to do.

We worked together from April 2021–July 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve had ups and downs; one project was successful, but the other dragged out a little longer than it was supposed to. However, it was a positive experience overall.

How did 10decoders perform from a project management standpoint?

They were responsive and delivered on time and on budget. We communicated via email and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were motivated and technology-focused. The team had excellent people, and they had great intentions. 10decoders didn’t want to let us down, so they tried to go above and beyond to make things happen. Overall, they were driven, enthusiastic, and professional.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had some concerns about the quality of the resources, but the team addressed them quickly. They could also improve the way they manage the engagement. We’d probably go with them again, but we’d have tighter control over our processes.

I suggest doing whatever basic due diligence you’d do to work with any service provider.

I’m the CTO of Geppetto Software, a software development company.

What challenges were you trying to address with 10decoders?

We needed help with software development for one of our customers.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

10decoders designed and developed a custom software solution from scratch, which was a web app that integrated with our customer’s proprietary backend system. Their efforts included analysis, speeding up a database, and coding, using Node.js, MongoDB, Azure, SQL, and Angular as their leading technologies.

To jumpstart the project, 10decoders helped us create a high-level design document to start with the development cycle, which we followed through an agile Scrum process. After they finished the product, 10decoders’ team provided six months of maintenance services.

Regarding functionalities, the system allows users to log in and order commercial-grade sporting equipment.

We worked with five developers and a project manager from the 10decoders’ team.

How did you come to work with 10decoders?

Someone referred them to me, and I chose them because they seemed to have spot-on technical acumen.

We spent around $200,000 with them.

We worked together from March–September 2019.

Our customer was delighted with the product we delivered to them, which was reliable, consistent, and scalable. Overall, 10decoders was fantastic and hit all the milestones we set.

How did 10decoders perform from a project management standpoint?

10decoders delivered everything on time and within budget. In terms of communication, we used Zoom and Google Chat.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were knowledgeable and experienced with the technology they used. Moreover, they were prompt in acknowledging and solving any issue that arose.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I didn’t think there was anything they could improve on. I was very satisfied with their work and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Developers from 10decoders are positioned with my customers who are developing a healthcare platform and billing system.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

10Decoders provides the best in class engineers. They are very strong in tech stack required for the project and also learn new things very quickly. Engineers are highly committed and available to work in the eastern timezone as and when required.

Consultants are very knowledgeable in the required tech stack, they are able to resolve many complex problems even the requirements are abstract. For example, reports implementation with microservices - the consultant, developed the idea and delivered the project in agile methodology and finally implemented it for all the reports. Another instance is implementation of the CICD, in which the consultant was able to take the abstract idea and deliver in stages.

There are about 4 consultants working with my company. They all positioned as developers with my customers.

Requirements are shared with JIRA tickets, and discussion are in audio/video chat. There is a good overlap of hours to cover the business hours.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We're impressed with their expertise in a wide variety of technologies. Commitment in delivery - meeting deadlines. Complimentary reviews and guidelines to improve the project

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I am working with this team for more than a year, and it is working very well. There is not much to complain, however some improvement in communication would bring them to the next level.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We worked with 10decoders on multiple projects, and each one was a success. Their estimates were on point, and if deadlines needed to be stretched, they would do so, and we would add more budget for it. Moreover, they usually worked on weekends to resolve any issues and ensure that they met deadlines. They also gave the code quality a lot of importance, which we greatly appreciated.

How did 10decoders perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team prepared weekly reports and presentations to review all the progress. We mainly used email for communication and relied on Jira for managing tasks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

10decoders consisted of thorough professionals who would go the extra mile to meet deadlines and accommodate last-minute changes, which were quite frequent. They were really adaptable and flexible with their schedule in order to deliver our requirements. They also went above and beyond in checking whether their outputs met performance standards and if the coding was of the highest quality.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They just need to keep this momentum going.
