The Indigen Group is a production company that develops and stages musical theatre works. We provide teaching and performance services to audiences in Ghana and globally.

What challenge were you trying to address with onekode?

We needed onekode to create a website for our new service offering and division.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Onekode designed and developed an online performing arts marketplace. The platform has separate login accounts for two types of users, payment functionality, and a rating and review system. Additionally, it has fields for creating detailed profiles to build up a database, search and scrolling mechanisms for profiles, and a simple booking process.

What is the team composition?

We worked with three teammates from onekode.

How did you come to work with onekode?

We found onekode through Bubble, which a friend recommended to me. We chose them because their price point was good, and there was a good fit between the two companies.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from July–September 2024.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Onekode delivered a finished website with working functionality for various aspects of the site. The platform was aligned with our brand and division and had a seamless and logical process. We had 42 performers signed on, 25 clients signed on, and four events advertised. Additionally, we had the ability to see active and inactive users.

How did onekode perform from a project management standpoint?

Onekode delivered on time. We primarily communicated via WhatsApp and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Onekode was very holistic in their approach. No task was too small, and they were willing to do all that it took to ensure we got what we wanted.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could orient new team members more when there are changes in their internal structure.

Based on SOW, OneKode was tasked with building a platform that would allow homeowners and contractors alike to log in, make payments, browse, create profiles, and allowed the contractors to post exclusive discounts only available to homeowners subscribed. The backend integrations included building dashboards, tables that could be easily exported, and profiles.

Yes - they were very timely in terms of making progress and keeping me updated. Minor changes were happily accommodated by OneKode.
