Throughout the project, Dreamers remained responsive and collaborative while navigating a large number of revisions and stakeholder requests. Allowed us to better announce our purchase of the application and provide better services to the existing customer base, with a hope to increase our customer base through consulting and providing continuing legal education.
We had seven of our customers respond to collaborate on a CLE presentation.  Engagement is valuable.

Dreamers Inc. did an outstanding job implementing a substantial modernization and enhancement project for the Montana Child Support (MTCS) web application. This is a complex application involving child support calculations, financial reporting, document generation, and practitioner workflows. 
When email fell short, they responded with virtual meetings to share screen and make sure they were meeting the need.

There are many firms in this space and we've gone through a few. All make big promises but few deliver quantifiable results. Dreamers stands out with real quality across the board that translates to an exceptional product that ultimately led to improved lead generation and conversion for AEG.

There are always areas of improvement, but overall, I can't point to a particular area. This is a field where trial and error are par for the course, and Dreamers did a nice job helping us experiment and find what works.

We needed help with software development and architectural design for a blockchain and automated trading system that we needed to build.

Dreamers Inc. has helped us build our blockchain and automated trading system from scratch. First, we scoped the project out together. Since then, the project has included discovery, design, development, and implementation. As for the technology stack, they've used Java, Python, and SQL. The team has also developed the iOS and Android mobile components.

Adam (Founder & R&D Specialist) is leading the project, and there are three developers on his end working on it as well.

We found them through a referral. They were located in Southern California, near us, so we met with them. Hiring them was a pretty easy decision.

We started working together in April 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Sharing actual metrics about the results of this project is hard because we've basically built this product from scratch. We've scoped it out, designed it, and built it together. As for the quality of Dreamers Inc.'s work, I can say that we have an ongoing relationship with them. We wouldn't be doing business with them if they didn't meet all our requirements.

We use Jira and Slack for internal development communications. We also use Trello, email, phone calls, and Google Meet.

Adam has done a great job. He's very professional and always on time for the scheduled calls. He's never late and is responsive with information. We've never waited on him on things that hold up our end of the team. He's also respectful of the time and meetings we have, as well as of the time commitments for the responses.

Dreamers Inc. has delivered work on budget, which is a key component to our success.

We needed to have our existing application run on AWS GovCloud and implement certain modifications. To that end, we hired Dreamers Inc. to provide custom software development services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We initially provided Dreamers Inc. with our existing application, which was a standalone software. We also provided the entire documentation set and explained exactly what we needed them to do. From there, their team proceeded with the work, helping us implement all the necessary modifications to make our app run on AWS GovCloud and function as a SaaS. This included integrating various APIs into our app, such as Stripe. They used different technologies for development, including PHP and MySQL.

The app has already been completed, and Dreamers Inc. now provides maintenance support.

At the beginiing of the project we only had concepts, and at the end of the project we had a workign UI in a matter of 1.5 years. This UI and application was critical to the success of the project.

We partner with laboratory providers, running large scale studies on genetic data. We approached Dreamers Inc. years ago, as our problem space was vast and complex, requiring expertise in multiple disciplines including mathematics, bioinformatics, genetics, machine learning, security, and software development. My team approached dozens of companies before we found them. 

We also worked with multiple offshore teams that were not able to produce results at this level. After two months of working with them, it was clear we had a long term relationship in the works. They have been our exclusive technology partner for years since. 

Key deliverables included an end to end pipeline capable of parsing and processing petabytes quickly and retiring old data, a machine learning system capable of learning from new data and providing accurate results, an inference system capable of scaling, and a secure data management system capable of withstanding penetration tests.

1. The model performed with high accuracy, capable of correlating phenotype data to genotype data and visa versa

The sheer level of expertise across so many diverse sciences is extremely unique. Additionally, they maintain professional demeanor while being good humored and easygoing. The engineers are humble despite being incredibly experienced and knowledgeable.

Other companies we have worked with were cheaper, but none of them were able to complete our project's requirements. In this world you get what you pay for. They are a great team, there are no major complaints.

Wuxn3D Marketplace designs, manufactures and sells 3D printers (FDM) and associated accessories and consumables (filament). My role is R&D Director.

We were looking to customize an open source Slicer, reskin to conform to our colors and to simplify a few of the selection options within this open source Slicer software.

SOLUTION

How did you select Dreamers Inc., and what were the deciding factors?

We tried a number of Web base Business Search tools to find a software development company. Lots of hits, but very difficult to engage unless the requirements were nailed. We were not that good at software, let alone documenting at the level most of these guys needed. So we decided to "hire someone" for 3 months so we could "coach" them thru what we actually wanted, not we we wrote down on paper... :). To that end, we posted a number of "help wanted" adds in local schools, Craigslist, etc. Ariana from Dreamers saw my add and reached out... Thankfully

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We hired Dreamers twice, initially to customize the Slicer as noted (about 3 weeks), then to add/modify the material list (2 days). Both jobs were performed "on time" (actually about a week late due to our errors) and exceed expectations related to performance, real time "software coaching" and lack of issues.

Dreamers read our poorly written requirements, helped us refine it, helped us understand: test, installers, certifications for Windows and Apple. Ariana provided an email update on Fridays related progress and issues. The project was not complicated enough to create a specific Project schedule or equivalent... We received candidate drops to evaluate and test, we provided feedback and on the 3rd or 4th drop, we called it good and moved forward. It got a little stressful at one point because one of our engineers was providing the wrong image format for a particular screen. Dreamers coached us related to what was probably wrong and we eventually discovered our error.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Great attitude, upbeat, good people. Precise in their communication. Very responsive. This particular Slicer software was new to Dreamers and has a steep learning curve (I've been told). Dreamers came up to speed very quickly and sent back a few Alpha versions for evaluation within the first week. We expected much longer...

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing about their behavior, but we learned a lot about the software development process thru their coaching.

We hired Dreamer Inc. to conceptualize, invent, and deploy custom software that could accomplish automated hyperlink creation between PDF documents. The goal was simple, create something that existed nowhere in any form in the marketplace. The software is so unique we obtained a full patent.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Prior to Hyper(Cite), Dreamers created another software system for us. We selected Dreamers for that project because Dreamers was the only vendor who responded the software was even possible to create. The deciding factor was only Dreamers could create what we needed.

They built out a system that allowed us to integrate with the court of Arizona, and did so in such a way that was impressively time and cost effective. They exceeded expectations.

This company has a unique ability to take ownership of products and act autonomously in the best interest of stakeholders, without needing to be managed closely. Communication with the team is mainly over e-mail, and phone. The internal management style similarly relies heavily on extremely experienced engineers who are familiar with agile methodology. They are able to fulfill major project requirements on time, and under budget.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Simply put, they solve problems nobody else was capable of solving. This comes down to innovation, creative problem solving, and work ethic.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As of now could not be more pleased with the service and would ask for nothing more.

We knew nothing about technology and needed someone to manage that for us.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Dreamers Inc. has set up our website and the backend software that allows the technology to work. They’ve engaged a designer to handle all HTML work and figure out what the product would look like. We initially had an idea; they brought it to life, building the website from scratch.

In the beginning, we worked with the designer to come up with mood boards. Once we decided which designs would work best, they implemented them. Our requirements for the website were that it was easily accessible, professional-looking, and conservative.

Additionally, they’ve worked on more than the website. For our marketing and strategy, they helped set up a marketing program that automatically reaches out to other people and finds potential leads. They’ve also worked on the technology that we bring onto our website.

The next deliverable will be to create a desktop application for the technology that we currently host on the website. They’ll set up marketing systems similar to Salesforce and do more sourcing.

They’re very collaborative. Also, they have a lot of great insights into what would be the best path forward. Dreamers Inc. thinks of things that we haven’t thought about in terms of the technology that would be helpful to the end user. 

Overall, their service goes beyond what we ask for. We’re extremely happy with their work; they’re a very thoughtful provider.

How did Dreamers Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They meet all of their deadlines. We communicate directly with the CEO via phone and email and don’t use any project management tools.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re out-of-the-box thinkers. They always try to think of the most efficient way to do something, and we weren’t expecting that. Since I don’t have a technology background, I trust them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be receptive; they have a lot of good ideas. If you’re firm about what you think, you might close some doors. They told us something at the beginning of the process, but we didn’t listen. It burned us in the end, so we encourage you to value their judgment.
