I’m the e-commerce manager of a Polish clothing company. We deal with the design, production, and distribution of clothing. I supervise the proper functioning of the store and introduce new solutions.

For what projects/services did your company hire 052b?

We wanted to create a new e-shop based on Magento 2 and implement components related to it. One of the hardest elements for this project was an integration with our ERP system and the creation of personalized plugins. We also needed help with our server configuration with cyclical updates.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main goal was to increase sales and also develop our brand recognition in the e-commerce segment. Additionally, we had to simplify sales paths based on our customer needs.

052b adapted the Magento platform to our detailed specification, industry requirements, and implemented all needed extensions. They created a brand-new fully functioning e-shop. Unique UX solutions were introduced, such as customized size charts and additional extensions for plugins. 052b also managed to integrate our ERP system with Magento 2.

We worked with 6-8 people, depending on the project implementation phase. We had a project manager who was our direct and permanent point of contact.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We entered a completely different level in online sales. The sale process and possibilities of positioning the store were significantly improved. The visibility of the store in organic search results has increased, just like sales results. They also provide us with continuity in improving the project. Great contact with the support service ensures us reliability of the service.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We were in constant contact with our project manager. They clearly defined deadlines, prices, and working hours. They always informed us about any possible improvements or errors that needed to be fixed immediately. Primarily, we used Asana as a project management tool. After a few months, we moved to Meistertask.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They didn’t refuse any of our commissions and they undertook very complicated task with consistent success. It’s a small team, very organized, team. The level and quality of their services certainly stand out from other bigger suppliers in the industry.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They need more confidence in introducing their own ideas and solutions to a client’s project. As a company that advertises its experience in creating internet projects, they should fight more for their solutions just to be sure that the final product will be fully functional.

We noticed that our clients make their purchasing decisions increasingly via their smartphones. That is why the need for a new e-commerce platform arose. We were interested in a solution that would allow our clients to quickly buy products on their mobile devices.

We wanted to increase sales in the online store and the number of visits from mobile devices. Further, we wanted to form a stable relationship with new clients. 052b's assignment consisted of the development of the store's graphic layout and the implementation of solutions that streamline purchases by phone.

We were looking for an agency capable of providing us with a highly convertible website developed in accordance with the highest UX standards. We selected 052b because, apart from experience in the e-commerce project implementation, the agency had a good photography portfolio.

052b analyzed the strong and weak points of our platform to better customize new solutions. The team prepared the layout of the mobile site with an eye towards simplicity. On the new website, the photos of clothes and visible action buttons clearly stand out.

They took the user's experience (UX) into account while developing the product website. The agency specialists shortened an order placement flow, which increased the transactions' value. One of the most important stages of the project involved making attractive photos. The lookbook sessions were conducted in Berlin and Los Angeles and at the 052b studio.

What was the team composition?

UX/UI specialists were responsible for the creation of the model while the team of programmers implemented the functionalities. The project manager coordinated the work and regularly reported the progress achieved. Thanks to this, we were always aware of the phase of works on the new Project MESS website.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

After the project completion, the number of transactions in the online store rose. Additionally, the number of visits from mobile devices went up. Users who visited the new website stayed longer than before.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We had a number of meetings during which we discussed our goals, examined the photography portfolio, and evaluated proposals of solutions. The project manager has reported in detail the outcome of the activities performed so far. If needed, the agency adjusts the project on an ongoing basis.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I believe that the way 052b advised us on reinforcing our brand image should be emphasized. Their assistance was also invaluable in designing and conducting the lookbook sessions. The photos from these sessions serve as an example of how to take an engaging photograph.

I’m the senior international relations manager for Camerimage, a festival dedicated to the celebration of cinematography and recognition of its creators. We bring together professional cinematographers, students, and other people associated with the film industry from all over the world.

Initially, we needed to develop a mobile app for the festival that was synched with our website. Later, we decided to build an entirely new website and do maintenance on an existing database that handled the festival’s programming and logistics.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to provide festival attendees with a user-friendly mobile app that would allow them to make the most of the festival program. We also wanted to create a mobile-responsive website with a modern look and layout. Additionally, we had to secure our database on a new server while preserving its tools and functions.

How did you select this vendor?

052b approached us with their offer for mobile app development, and we decided to give it a go. Since they did a great job on the mobile app, we’ve continued the cooperation for other projects.

Describe the project in detail.

First, they created an iOS and Android mobile app that we refresh every year with up to date information about the festival. It features a map of festival locations with a navigation tool, a tab displaying our sponsors and partners, and a schedule of screenings and events. Users can easily browse program and film descriptions and choose their favorites.

For the website project, they transferred the content from our previous site onto a newly designed WordPress engine. They created both a user-friendly, visually attractive site and a simple admin panel. The database project had them move everything to new servers. This was challenging, as we use a quite out-of-date object that they weren’t familiar with. They successfully completed the migration and configuration after analyzing its structure, however.

The director or programming is our main point of contact, but we’ve also worked with a project manager and several senior and junior developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We’ve been collaborating with 052b for several years, and we're happy with how the app comes out every year. The feedback from our users is also positive.

We’ve established an effective system that allows us to report issues and have them solved quickly. It’s smooth and produces timely results.

The most important element to us was the service level. We considered three IT agencies, but 052b was recommended to us by another agency.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

They’ve worked on multiple projects for us, including building our current website, but the most interesting, in our opinion, was the internal communication platform they built for one of our clients. The solution connects local car dealerships with corporate headquarters, allowing them to book and rent event materials such as balloons, sun loungers, and tents. 052B was responsible for everything from the beginning to the end, developing it from a brief we gave them, as well as what they picked up in client meetings.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The communication tool has a very aesthetic design and easily met the client’s requirements. The clients were satisfied and appreciated 052b’s high-level knowledge and skills. We’ll be working with them on another internet platform. We’re very satisfied with the cooperation, and it is not easy to find the right company for a long-term partnership.

Project management was arranged perfectly and was effective. They worked efficiently and quickly, which is important, because everyone in marketing is always in a hurry.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Both the company's management and its employees are very knowledgeable, are apprised of the latest market trends, and are able to effectively advise us. We value their opinion and we often rely on them for advice on online tools and integrated internet campaigns. They’re very flexible and they support us in meetings with our clients. We can rely on and trust them.

I don't see any such areas.
