We have been working with Aktiv Software for almost half a decade, and overall it has been a very positive collaboration. Aktiv Software has supported us with the development of several solutions and has shown strong expertise in digital transformation and ERP systems, particularly around Odoo ERP, including customization, implementation, integrations, and ongoing support.  Their ability to adapt solutions to our business processes and help optimize workflows has been a clear value for us. Communication has generally been professional and solution-oriented.  There have been a few occasions where information was not fully passed on between developers when multiple people were involved in the same project, which meant we had to repeat ourselves. However, these situations were always resolved through constructive dialogue, and a solution was consistently found.  Overall, we are satisfied with the service and consider Aktiv Software a reliable and competent long-term partner.

We had to change an existing Magento 2 template to fit a new product category. The goal was, to provide a special list and detail view for products of type "components"

Our last development partner wasn't able to complete the template changes. The changes were calculated for 1 week. The changes should get online 4 weeks after the old partner starts the work. After 2 weeks the old partner quits the work and told us this isn't possible. So we needed a new partner which can do the job within 2 weeks including testing.

Akiv Software analyzed the given XD-File (Adobe XD), and after a short skype call to clarify open questions they do the job within 6 workdays. So we have enought time to test the changes and were able to go online on time. We are very happy with the work of Aktive Software and look forward to a long cooperation.

The entire project communication ran through a fixed contact person. But there are 3 persons involved from Aktiv Software for quality management.

The new template looks great and fits the requirements of the customers.

The project manager reports every day about the project status. There was a small adjustment by our customer while developing. Aktiv Software adds this adjustment without any problems. The main communicaion was by skype, because this was only a short project of a cupple of days.

They analyzed the created perfect designs with no issues. Calculate the required time and costs and do the job in time. With our old partner we have a lot of bugs after he says "i'm finished".

We use or own ERP (Odoo) for task communication and time registry, and we have regular daily communication through Skype. For us it was important to have this regular communication and we are very satisfied with it.

As in any other software project with people working from other locations, we used English as official language within the team and used videoconferences and screen recording a lot. The relationship with the customer was done by myself and the technical management was done by them.
