Zima was responsible for the end-to-end design strategy of our health-tech platform. The scope of work began with product discovery and business process mapping to align the platform’s complex recruitment automation with user needs. They developed our full brand identity, including naming and a comprehensive branding kit. For the digital product, they delivered high-fidelity UX/UI designs for both a web-based application and a mobile application for iOS and Android.

The team delivered a complete design package: user flow, branding, and UI. In addition, they proposed conducting research, ensuring that the solutions we are currently implementing are validated and based on real user needs.

The collaboration with Zima Agency began with workshops, during which we thoroughly discussed our goals, user needs, and key guidelines. Based on these insights, the agency created an intuitive information architecture, designed key pages, and developed the service selection module. They also executed a full rebranding, including a new logo, which seamlessly integrated into a modern and cohesive style aligned with our company’s identity. The website’s design evolved, becoming more modern while still maintaining an elegant and approachable feel. The Zima team delivered a complete set of UI designs and documentation, allowing us to smoothly move into the implementation phase.

The project is currently in the implementation phase, but we’re already seeing clear benefits. In the design process, when creating the final UI, we spent more time than we wanted making sure everything was consistent - there were small, but important details (such as color code for call-to-actions, or inconsistencies between the same elements in various places of the website) that were incoherent in many places, and on every stage of finalising UI appearance we had to give feedback to it.

They focused on ensuring that the deliverables could be easily implemented, so they worked with developers during the design process to ensure a smooth implementation. 
To show the designed animations in the app, the UI designer created a clickable prototype, which also helped to ensure the smooth implementation of the project. Their team is well-organized and knows how to listen to the needs of the client. Working with Zima means collaborating with great specialists who have been in the market for several years.

What challenge were you trying to address with Zima UX, UI & Design Strategy?

We needed help with the UI/UX design of an operation panel for a protection relay/bay controller.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zima UX, UI & Design Strategy prepared and delivered complete project documentation in Figma, organized into sections and elements marked as ready for implementation. The team developed a design system (colors, typography, icons, grids/layouts, spacing, backgrounds) and a UI component library (including buttons, input fields, navigation, tables, toasts, modals, on-screen keyboards). Additionally, Zima UX, UI & Design Strategy created designs for several key screens and their state variants, including login, menu, events, measurements, notifications, and settings. The designs took into account interaction states and behaviors (e.g., filtering, detailed views, confirmations, locked states), allowing for clear implementation on the development side. The main outcome was a consistent, scalable interface based on reusable components and a set of reference screens, which reduced implementation time and minimized the risk of inconsistencies in the application.
