What challenge were you trying to address with Zazen Design?

They’re building our new website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zazen Design built my website from scratch on WordPress. I had a specific look in mind, but it was very close to what they’ve already done. It has over 800 images and some e-commerce functionality as well.

What is the team composition?

I just work with Ben (Founder).

How did you come to work with Zazen Design?

I searched online for a number of days and found Ben on Google. His reviews were good, and I liked the simplicity of his designs. He also got back to me right away.

How much have you invested with them?

I plan to spend about $3,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started in early May of this year, and the site is in process.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s a bit difficult to say so far, but I’ve had a very good experience with Zazen Design at this point. Ben is so good at changing the design according to what we think is necessary, but he gives his ideas as well. He’s calm and easy to work with, which is a delight.

How did Zazen Design perform from a project management standpoint?

He’s surprisingly communicative without giving extraneous detail. He gets back in touch immediately almost every time, and he hits the exact question that needs answering in the simplest form. If anything’s complex, he’ll send me a narrated YouTube video to explain my choices or next steps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The initial website he showed to me was very inviting. We haven’t gotten through the full process yet, so I can only speak to that.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing at all at this point. I’m happy overall.

Any advice for potential customers?

Look at Ben’s designs and see if they speak to you. If they do, he’s a great guy to work with.
