Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

They set up my books, automated the connection between my Shopify store and my accounting software, created the chart of accounts, and set up payroll for our employees.

We got our first set of financials after our first month of being open, and it gave us a clear picture of how we were doing. They showed us details like damaged inventory, shrink, and all of our expenses, which was really helpful to see early on.

They also handled our year-end work. The W-2s for our employees were delivered on January 7th, and the 1099s came the next day. They even sent us our Year-End numbers early, so we could get everything ready for our CPA to do our taxes.

The scope of work covered setting up everything we needed to run our business financially—from the books and payroll to integrations with our store. They made it so much easier for us to see how our business was performing right from the start.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We saw results immediately. From our very first sale, all the information was in QuickBooks Online that same day. We could see all our customers, sales receipts, and payment details without needing to enter anything manually. It was amazing to see everything working so smoothly right from the start.

When they delivered our first month-end reports, we were really impressed. They gave us a complete picture of how our business was doing, including insights into damaged inventory, shrink, and all of our expenses. It was exactly the kind of clarity we needed to make smart decisions early on.

Their work set us up to track our finances effortlessly and gave us confidence that we’re on the right path.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

They have a project management system that we logged into to handle everything. It was super easy to use—receipts could be emailed to a dedicated address they set up for us, or we could just text them. Everything we needed to do was managed through their bookkeeping project management system, so we didn’t have to spend much time inside QuickBooks Online.

If we forgot to send documents on time, they would text us reminders, which was really helpful to keep things moving. We could also ask questions or communicate with them directly through the system, and they always responded quickly and made sure we had what we needed.

Overall, their project management was great, and they delivered everything on time. The system they set up made things super convenient and kept everything organized for us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What impressed me most about this company is their work ethic and the genuine care they have for their clients. I had a great conversation with their CEO, who made himself available to talk with me—a refreshing change from what I’ve experienced elsewhere. He even invited me to their office to discuss ways I could save money and increase revenue by making some simple process changes.

While the extra money he projected wasn’t a huge amount, it meant a lot to see how much he cared about our success. He said he’s invested in his clients, and I could see that it wasn’t just him—the whole team is genuinely invested in helping us do well. It’s rare to find a company that goes above and beyond like that.
