Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm a Chief Operating Officer in Polish NGO - The Kosciuszko Institute. Our Institute is the main organizer of CYBERSEC conferences and EXPO trade fairs. The Institute are also a research think-tank dealing with the cybersecurity and disinformation issues. My main role as a COO is a general management of the team, projects, financial issues etc.

We hired Z-labs for web application penetration test. Our web application was the registration and conference online platform, so we looked for external professional company that conduct the classic penetration test of our crucial conference platform.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Z-labs was recommended by our partner. We decided to cooperate with Z-labs because of professional attitude, experience and competetive price.

That was classic web application penetration testing. Z-labs tested all crucial test of our platform within few days and wrote and send summary report.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Thanks to penetration test, we identify weak sides of our conference platform and we have time to patch the vulnerabilities. Report was very clear for us since we are not a technical experts in that matter.

Very good and smooth workflow and communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed by their individual attitude and excellent understanding of their clients' needs. They have a huge knowledge about WEB cybersecurity.

Absolutely not! Very professional company with good approach to client.

We wanted to do penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities on our actual site and application.

Z-Labs, Software Security Labs performed automated and manual penetration testing to look for vulnerabilities potential threats that could impact our application. They then delivered a tiered process of recommendations on how to solve the identified vulnerabilities and risks.

Z-Labs, Software Security Labs was recommended to us by someone else that had used them before. We went with them because they were highly experienced and because they had worked with Intel on their security programs before.

Z-Labs, Software Security Labs performed exceptionally well in terms of project management. They delivered the project within the budget and before the deadline, and they were very proactive in terms of providing updates.

We primarily communicated through email, but we also had regular meetings through Zoom.

We were very impressed with Z-Labs, Software Security Labs’ expertise and honesty.

I don’t think there’s anything they could have done better. We’re extremely happy with the services they provided.
