I work as Senior Communications Officer for a health organization's country office in Ethiopia.

We hired Yidnek to video document the health response to the drought in Somali Region, Ethiopia.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We hired Yidnek through our regional office for Africa.

Yidnek video-recorded drought-affected communities, surrounding areas, service delivery at health facility and community levels. This included interviews. He followed the health organization's guidance, including securing consent from subjects. He delivered raw footage as well as edited versions of the video recording.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with Yidnekachew. He was excellent to work with.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

A short video edited by the health organization has been produced and shared on YouTube and Twitter, creating a better understanding of the situation and our response.
