YesAssistant offered a four-person team to help various aspects of our healthcare administrative and revenue-cycle work. They were responsible for medical billing and coding support, claims processing, insurance verification, prior authorizations follow-up (calling Out-of-Network payers), patient scheduling, etc. Other revenue cycled management activities. The team embedded itself into our internal operations rather than taking on sporadic, one-off tasks.

Usually, we send work with requisite details to the assigned team. After that, the team processes work items as per our procedures. We perform a quality check and then the task is either returned or moved to the next stage. Communication occurred through operational updates, or email, or existing internal processes. The team also had to handle patient and insurance information carefully, where accuracy and proper documentation were particularly vital.

Engagement started in April 2026 and is ongoing. With our four dedicated resources working on the project, we are able to distribute the repetitive administration work more efficiently for continuity across billing, claims, scheduling and authorizations.

The engagement has resulted in a number of measurable operational improvements for our team.

• Decreased processing time by 32% on the key workflows of billing, claims processing, insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Minimized 45% of the administrative backlog thus empowering better control of recurring work for internal team.
• About 25 hours a week were saved for our healthcare staff which is used on patient-facing and other higher-value operations.

What is notable is the fact that they are able to take on a number of back-office functions instead of just one. Having a four-person team has been helpful as billing, claims, authorizations, insurance verifications and scheduling often rely on one another.

As engagement progresses, I would like more detailed performance reporting, particularly on revenue-cycle activity; turnaround times need further insight. In general, though, the team has been responsive and useful when it comes to our ongoing operations.

We engaged YesAssistant to help with a number of recurring areas in our operations from order management and returns processing, to product data entry & catalog management support, live chat and seasonal support. They assumed responsibility for repetitive time consuming operational actions that would have otherwise required a lot of resources from our internal retail team.

The team made call decisions, processed and organized incoming orders, and assisted the administrative workflow of order management. It also helped with returns processing, maintaining consistency in return-related information. Another key component of the engagement was product data entry and catalog management, especially where product information needed to be consistent across our retail systems.

They also offered live chat support, so we were able to answer the most common questions from customers and relieve some of the pressure off our core retail operations team. Their availability provided us with extra hands to accommodate peaks in activity when things were busier! You actively communicated with our internal team to align on work, adjusting priorities based on order volume and seasonality.

This ability to reduce or increase the scope of work according to our retail needs is very beneficial during the seasonal harvest. The team can perform repetitive tasks without any assistance, but instead forwards questions that require clarification to higher authorities. These strategies are often realistic and adaptable, which is particularly useful for a retailer, as their priorities change rapidly.

We started our engagement with YesAssistant on March 15, 2026, and it continues. The four-member team provides assistance in several areas of our finance operations, which include loan processing, mortgage underwriting support, KYC / AML checks, and claims adjudication, collections, customer service, etc.

The team operates as an addition to our operations, not as a “one-off” outsourced resource. They manage back-office recurring tasks, check and organize information required for processing, help with compliance checks, and provide customer-facing assistance when needed. The work we assign is based on our operational needs. Communication takes place between the YesAssistant team and us to clarify requirements or handle exceptions.

It also allows us to reposition resources to work areas with increased load. This has proven especially helpful due to changing volumes and documentation that is often time-sensitive. The four-member team ensured steady workflow and made it easier for our internal staff to shift their focus towards more complex operational tasks.

Within a month of the engagement, the operational results were positive. Our processing capacity was boosted by four people. Furthermore, there was more stability in the loan processing, underwriting support, KYC/AML checks, collections and customer service. In addition, we decreased the level of recurring back-office work managed directly by our internal operations. As the contract is in progress, we continue monitoring turnaround time, volume of processing, operational accuracy and efficiency.

The project's management has been facilitated and very responsive. Basically, we talk through priorities and requirements with the team who generally get back to confirm the request fairly quickly and get the work moving. Our communication has improved by having four dedicated team members who can spread the workload rather than relying solely on one person. They have been willing to change their workflow when the scenario changes. During the first month, we saw the value especially when the team learned our processes and quickly delivered useful results. In all, the communication has been pragmatic and consistent with getting the work done.

What has stood out most is the rapid deployment of multiple financial operations getting done by the team. We began getting good results from month one, and having four people available gave us enough capacity to support multiple workflows rather than just outsourcing one isolated task.

Onboarding documentation could be more encompassing especially for some financial workflows because this would be smoother. Nevertheless, the staff adapted to them quickly and it turned out great.
