It was really an end-to-end process development. They informed us of setup expenses before going into the benefits of Xero and QuickBooks. We selected Xero and were then given monthly plans to begin bookkeeping.

After that, they completed our technical integrations, which included connecting our warehouse to Oracle for inventory management and Stripe for credit card processing and PayPal. Yau and Wong CPA also connected our website to Xero's accounting reporting features. Byron specifically taught us how to draft purchase orders for our retail vendors.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

For the setup, they did an outstanding job with supporting technology integrations. We had to change technology a couple of times, and they were very amenable to testing and retesting the integrations into our Xero account. We’re up and running and confident in our system.

Byron was outstanding. He even calls me and reminded me of things. Additionally, he's always quick to pay bills. As soon as I send it to their accounting inbox, he pays immediately or ask me about it. Yau and Wong is really good in that regard. We communicate well.

The extent of the support we got with onboarding integrations was amazing. Their experience has really helped my team members understand more about e-commerce.

I got assistance from Yau and Wong CPA in setting up our financial records and reporting. They completed additional tasks as asked, sent me monthly financial reports, and handled bookkeeping and other accounting services for us. I now have access to all of our financial statements through an online accounting interface that they set up for me.

They also handle our payroll and prepare and file our taxes. My personal taxes are also prepared as part of their service package. Electronic signatures on papers are now being used.

With the records and data they've set up, we're able to make more informed judgments and pay closer attention to our expenses. Considering how the economy is weakening, this visibility is really crucial. 

Because they keep tabs on our finances all year long, their tax preparation process runs smoothly. Having them on board is beneficial since it eliminates the need for us to oversee an internal bookkeeper.
