Please describe your company and your position there.

My husband and I own a travel agency based in Turkey. We operate tours in Istanbul, Cappadocia, and the Mediterranean Coast. Our excursions include hot air ballooning, gulet cruises, sightseeing day tours, and more.

For what projects/services did your company hire WriteMelon, and what were your goals?

We hired WriteMelon for help in launching our new hot air ballooning website. Akriti also helped to launch our Facebook and Instagram accounts.

How did you select WriteMelon and what were the deciding factors?

I interviewed Akriti for the position and was very impressed with her level of organization and planning. She helped to keep me organized as well and we worked together to develop the site and social media pages. Her level of experience and guidance were exactly what we were looking for.

Akriti managed our social media accounts with a detailed and well-thought-out strategy. She managed all of the copy for our new site as well as the back-end SEO necessary to get the site up and running, including industry keyword and competition research. She also wrote numerous blog posts about travel-related topics in Turkey.

We worked with Akriti, founder of WriteMelon.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our blog page looks great and we are now at the point where we can start to contact other bloggers for guest posts. Our Instagram is also gaining traction.

Akriti is very organized. She sent me a weekly email with all of her tasks (and mine). She also updated me with her progress each week.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Akriti is very easy to work with. The team responds in a very timely manner and is willing to go above and beyond. I enjoyed our meetings every week.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None that I can think of.

I am a freelance GMAT tutor and needed someone to create my website to market my services to students directly.

I needed a cost effective but professional website that ranked high on Google but also wanted it to be simple with lots of action prompts. The idea was to get students to get in touch with me as soon as they got to the website. So it needed customer experience thinking.

Direct approach, free trial of part of their service, asking the right questions were amongst the top factors that attracted me to writemelon. Loved the simplicity and promptness of their service.

The scope included web development and the content for the website as well as some SEO support to ensure I was using the right keywords etc.

I worked with one member directly which was easy as she understood my needs really well and I didn’t have to explain it to multiple people. She was the cofounder.

I’ve been getting more hits and a lot of them are highly relevant to what I offer so overall it’s been a great outcome.
