BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are an award winning multimedia production company that develops and produces factual content for a variety of partners & distribution platforms. I worked there as a producer & handling the overseas production & operations.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Work in Progress Productions, and what were your goals?

We hired them to provide us the local production support. We wanted to get our permits done.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The company was suggested to me by a friend who had worked them in the past

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

We were a making a episode on Chef Gaggan anand. He has a restaurant called Gaggan in Bangkok which is ranked number 1 in Asia's best 50 restaurant. Gaggan got inspired from his childhood memories for his menu & we wanted to feature that in our episode. Gaggan's family still lives in Kolkata India & we decided to take him to the places & markets from where he got the inspiration for his dishes.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with Saurabh & Mohit. We didn't had any problems in the shoot & everything went really smooth.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The show was liked by many people & we were happy with the response we got. We were commissioned to make more seasons by Netflix. Till now we have made 6 seasons.

The team was really efficient and professional. The planning was perfect. We were happy to see their involvement in the pre production which helped us in executing the shoot swiftly. The crew was fluent in English & there were no hiccups & we met our deadlines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Budget friendly & prompt response.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't remember anything in particular. since it's been quite sometime that we had shot with them. But as far as I remember we didn't face any issues in the shoot.
