Wishpond was hired for a 3-month fully managed Meta/Instagram advertising and lead-generation campaign for my small fiber arts business, Yarning Fiber Arts. The SOW included: 
• Fully managed Meta ads campaign (strategy, creative, optimization) 
• Pop-up setup on my live website 
• Landing page creation 
• Email drip sequence (up to 6 emails) 
• Dedicated account manager 
• Lead tracking and reporting 
• Up to 3 revisions per asset

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Modest number of leads generated (but did not sync to Shopify customer base at first and leads were not sent the promise guide in return for signing up)

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Project management was inconsistent and lacked the structured approval process I expected. Deliverables were frequently pushed live (both on my website and in Meta ads) without my prior review or approval, which went against the process we had discussed. Several items required multiple rounds of revisions due to quality issues (incorrect fiber descriptions, non-functional buttons/elements, mobile display problems, and mismatched creative). While some assets were eventually delivered, many were not on time or fully functional when first released. When I raised concerns about quality and the unauthorized deployments, the response from the project manager was that mistakes are to be expected and that quality would not improve. This made it difficult to feel my needs were being heard or addressed effectively. Overall, the project management style left me chasing fixes and ultimately led me to terminate the contract early.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

At the beginning of the engagement, Wishpond was quick to set up the initial campaign structure and showed enthusiasm for the project. They also offered a dedicated account manager, which is a feature many agencies highlight. Beyond that, I did not find anything particularly impressive or unique in their execution or customer service during the campaign.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Wishpond could have done differently?

Yes — several things could have been handled differently: 
• Implement and strictly follow a formal approval process before any asset is deployed to a live website or Meta ads account. Multiple items went live without my review. 
• Respond to quality feedback with concrete improvements instead of stating that mistakes are to be expected and that quality would not improve. 
• Ensure core technical deliverables actually worked. These changes would have made a significant difference in the outcome of the project.

Leads and conversion.  Quality content and strong social media marketing capabilities.

Over the past six months, I invested a significant amount of money and time believing Wishpond could help generate qualified leads and streamline my marketing operations. What I received instead was a complete failure of delivery on every level:

Broken Promises: Their much-touted AI calling system was never properly installed and never functioned at all. Despite repeated assurances, nothing was ever operational.
Integration Failure: They promised to connect their platform with my CRM to improve efficiency — that integration never happened, leaving me with disconnected data and wasted resources.
Abysmal Advertising: Their ad campaigns were shockingly amateur. My luxury villa company was advertised in a way that damaged my brand image, resembling a cheap roadside motel rather than a high-end property experience. My SEO consultant called their campaign performance “abysmal,” and I completely agree.
Zero Accountability: Each time I raised concerns, I was met with excuses, delays, and empty promises of “fixes” that never materialized.
In the end, I was left with a depleted marketing budget, no tangible results, and a tarnished brand image. Wishpond sold me a dream of modern lead generation powered by AI and smart automation — what I actually received was a small-time marketing chop-shop peddling smoke and mirrors.

Although their staff (Felipe and Andres) are very kind and accommodating; if you value your money, time, and professional reputation, stay far away from Wishpond. They are, in my opinion, a textbook example of overpromising and underdelivering, leaving trusting clients like myself to clean up the mess.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Nothing - it was all bad.  Especially the items we contractually agreed to that they never delivered and would not commit to their lack of providing. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something Wishpond could have done differently?

Followed through with what they promised.  As part of the package, I had an AI call bot that was never installed and it never worked.  For 6 months I received excuses and delays.  Such a waste!  Oh and their scammy sales tactics - reminded me a of a used car salesman; big promises, ultra short on delivery.  And finally, their "customer service specialist," Anton - he was the worst at trying to make things right.  I spent so much time telling him and showing he failiures of his company only for him to outright say there was no help or reconsideration, nor any type of responsibility on their part.  Oh, it gets better - they billed me beyond our contractual agreement and when I told them to reverse the charge, Anton said, "we don't have a refund policy, so this is not possible."  Wishpond is an absolute clown show that wastes time and has the ability to sink small businesses.
