Windstar has been our official partner in video services for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb (PPHC) for years. Specifically:

• Production of our 100th anniversary documentary in 2016
• Yearly TV commercial for race promotion
• Hall of Fame Feature Videos
• Ground Package Video Services - place 12 cameras along the course to capture video for competitors, sponsors, media and organization for use in their produced videos
• Helicopter Video Package transfer service - download from Heli camera to hand-off to buyer of footage
• Archives - house PPHC historical archives and add each year's footage
• Competitor Full Run video production - includes downloading competitors in car camera footage on race day/returning and then editing/posting for PPHC YouTube

Great YouTube numbers, return customers for video packages, Documentary still sells and rents well.

• Windstar provides video and audio production services for all of our ad agency clients.
• We partner with them on scriptwriting and they handle all pre-production, casting, directing and editing for all of our video and audio content.
• They do studio, on-location and drone shoots.
• In additional to short and long-form video, they provide organic social media and podcast services as well.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• For our Veterans suicide prevention campaign, we were successful in contributing to decreasing Veteran suicides in El Paso County, Colorado by 50% in 2023-24.
• The New Mexico State Fair saw a 30% increase in attendance opening day 2024 compared to 2023. The Fair continues to surpass previous attendance years with Windstar as our production partner.
• Phil Long Dealerships have had record volume months in 2024-2025 when the rest of the market has been shrinking.

• Windstar is very responsive to our needs and takes the lead on project management. They participate in client meetings when asked, they lead pre-production meetings and they have debriefs after projects to evaluate what we collaboratively could have done better on specific campaigns.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

• Windstar Studios is a true production partner. They care as much about the level of service and the end product as we do. We simply couldn't function without them. Their deep colloaboration in all aspects of our video and audio work has propelled AdPro to a whole new level of excellence for our clients.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Windstar Studios could have done differently?

• Windstar just keeps pushing themselves to be better. If we ever have differing opinions or issues we need to work through, we handle them quickly, directly and authentically and then move on.

Windstar created a video for an RFP submittal that was requested by the potential client. We had to introduce our team of 15 people, plus take something from their website and show how we would creatively message it to their audiences.

Project management was great. They kept me informed and met with me as needed since it was a fairly quick turnaround. Let me meet with the editor directly to review the video and make changes.
