How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for a simple way to save on our cloud storage. WindRate’s website required a lot less information than going through either AWS or Azure to secure competitive bids.

We are required to store video surveillance recordings remotely in the cloud. We are also moving our business systems and data into the cloud and wanted quotes on two platforms, AWS and Azure. The website allowed us to easily price storage on both platforms.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

None. The WindRate website required no assistance. We simply entered how much storage we were looking for and the cloud platforms and we received quotes the same day. It was straightforward.

Again, the website required no interaction with any representative from their company. The website was easy to use and produced multiple quotes quickly. At the end of the process they emailed a report which showed all the quotes. The report was helpful.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They made it easy. How much storage? What platform? Then we got to choose which providers to reach out to after seeing their quotes.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We wish they quoted all of cloud services and not just storage.
