Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the co-founder and CEO of Pingree Detroit, a design and manufacturing company. We craft goods with leather upcycled from the automotive industry.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with WHIM Innovation?

We needed help with SEO and addressing marketing challenges for our Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms. Our website also needed an uplift.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

WHIM Innovation did a complete social media and website audit and then devised a plan to improve everything. The team guided us in adding alt text to every product picture to improve SEO and keyword optimization. WHIM Innovation also helped us understand how to use Google to see what terms people searched for on our website and what terms our competitors searched for.

Moreover, WHIM Innovation identified ways to address inconsistencies on the website, such as making all our pictures the same size. Overall, the team did a deep dive audit of the website to determine how we could rank better organically and have a more consistent brand story across all our platforms.

Our referral traffic increased, and we improved across all fronts and categories. We increased sales, lowered our customer acquisition cost, improved our conversion rate, and increased our customer lifetime value.

Everything was excellent. We communicated via email, face-to-face meetings, and phone calls.
