I’m the Director of Marketing at Saugatuck Brewing Co., a craft brewery located in southwest Michigan.

What challenge were you trying to address with Wells Collins Design LLC? 

We needed standout, high-quality designs for our labels and secondary packaging—something that would break through the noise on shelves and truly reflect the story behind each beer. Wells Collins Design LLC brought the creativity and expertise we were looking for.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Wells Collins Design LLC provided initial rounds of sketches for our labels and secondary packaging, offering a wide range of creative directions to help us quickly hone in on the right look and feel. They explored multiple typography and layout options, and consistently offered up to four rounds of revisions per design. In the end, they delivered polished, printer-ready files along with support and vector files—making the entire process smooth and turnkey.

I discovered Wells Collins Design LLC through the Denver creative community and was immediately drawn to his style and attention to detail. I chose to work with him because of his ability to take direction, respond thoughtfully to feedback, and consistently capture the vision behind each project. Every time we pitched an idea, he just got it.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2022, and the project lasted four weeks. Since then, we’ve hired Wells Collins Design LLC for 15 different projects.

You feel very much like you are designing the project together. The packaging he has done for us has received incredible feedback from distributors, consumers, and fellow breweries.
