I’m the CEO of a global consulting firm called Willpower.

What challenge were you trying to address with WDCweb?

We were trying to grow the company through business development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We did the project in phases. Phase one was an analysis to identify what my vision and ultimate outcome would be. The second phase was to develop a prototype for me to review, while the third phase was for me to supply them with content to fill in the framework. Phase four was for the final review and tweaking, and then phase five would be the launch.

After the product launched, they monitored how well the site was doing, which led to the last phase of tweaking and adjusting, based on what we saw after the initial rollout.

For the development phase, I came up with the color scheme while they did all the design. We also provided them with word documents, PDF, and JPEG files of me doing some work in the field. Moreover, they also did research on trending topics in regards to how people choose to interact with the website — they even created click funnels that can be mapped back to my Facebook page.

WDCweb continues to provide me with ongoing maintenance.

What is the team composition?

I work with Shree (Founder & CEO) who sets the stage and the scope of the work first. There is also this one person who comes up with the vision for the design, which they then send to Shubham (SEO Analyst) who actually creates the design. Apart from them, there are three other team members who mostly deal with my website in terms of coding.

How did you come to work with WDCweb?

They were a referral from a friend. I met the CEO when I went to India and it started from there.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve invested more than $5,000 USD.

What is the status of this engagement?

The ongoing partnership started in August 2018.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

In terms of the quality of their work, if you have a request to reach out to them, they do not take a long time to get back to you. When something is down, they will investigate the issue within five minutes.

Before I dealt with WDCweb, I only had two participants sign up for one of my events in Nagpur, Maharashtra. After using them, I sold out a show in a bigger city — 60 people showed up for my event that was only meant to have 30 people. I went from having two people sign up, to selling out events in Delhi. That tells me that no matter how good you are, you need to have a framework presented online so that people can recognize who you are. 

How did WDCweb perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re stellar when it comes to project management. It’s impossible for me to have had the success I did without them. We typically communicated through WhatsApp, email, and Zoom.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their willingness to learn about our business, and their discipline to stick to the plan.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wish they lived in the USA.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would say to recognize that there’s a process to success, and drop any preconceived ideas you may have on how something should get done. You can stick to what you want to happen and what the end results should be, but allow WDCweb to guide you through and you’ll be okay. I would also suggest not to take advantage of them either on purpose or by accident — I’ve taken advantage of them in the past in terms of the scope of the work.
