BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the CEO of an IT outsourcing company. We provide a range of services associated with the development of web platforms, applications, and designs for your business.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire VR Inn, and what were your goals?

We were looking for a company that can develop VR training solutions for the end client from scratch and at the same time take full responsibility for the result. Our objective was to provide additional value to our client, whereas the client's goal was the automation of the employees’ training.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was engaged in discussions with more than 10 VR vendors, whom I found through different listings. After meeting Giorgi, I was astonished by the extreme competency and care with which he approached the project. Moreover, the proposed solution turned out the best among available vendors.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Initially, the VR Inn team held the interview process with the client to obtain a clear understanding of the requirements of the training for employees. Then, they proposed an excellent training concept that was acknowledged by the client. Upon the client’s approval of the deadlines and budgets, the team started the development.

What I liked the most during the work with VR Inn is that each completed training module was demonstrated to the client’s team and received positive feedback. Lastly, it is important to note that the above solution was built completely on Unity.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

In the very beginning we worked with Giorgi (CEO), shortly, the project manager was assigned, but Giorgi always made sure to touch base with us throughout the whole project and contributed with weekly reports among other tasks. Overall, we were engaged in work with 5 main team members: Project Manager, UX\UI Designer, 2 Unity Developers, and QA Engineer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Complete satisfaction of the client regarding the final result, as it is a practical tool to keep their business prospering by saving time and cost associated with employees’ training.

VR Inn makes sure to put the client first, as well as The communication process was mainly conducted via Slack, Google Hangouts.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The specialists at VR Inn are highly professional, with a good sense of deadlines. They utilize a flexible approach to the development process and are always open to ideas and communication with customers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I would recommend VR Inn’s services to everyone in search of reliable and competent vendors — it was a great experience for me.
