I’m the CEO of OnsetGame, a gaming company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Vortex Advertising?

We needed help with user acquisition through different channels mostly for the US market.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They take care of all affiliate marketing services for our desktop and mobile games.

What is the team composition?

I communicate with a business developer, a tech guy who helps with integration, and two QA people.

How did you come to work with Vortex Advertising?

I met their media buyer when I was working on a different project, and I knew he was really good since he helped me manage a really big budget. He told me that he had joined Vortex Advertising and we connected with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested $800,000 on their services so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2018, and the collaboration is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Usually, when testing a product, we’re looking at specific key performance indicators. We recently shifted our focus to retention rates and started tracking our 7-day retention. Vortex Advertising produced a pretty good 17% of retention over seven days; however, they had weak 28-day retention. This is because they targeted 7-day retention.

Overall, it’s convenient to work with Vortex Advertising because we can simply give them the criteria we’re after and they understand what we want.

How did Vortex Advertising perform from a project management standpoint?

We chat with Vortex Advertising almost every day. Their responsive and transparent team provides weekly reports and regularly ask for feedback. While we did experience some small issues at the beginning regarding reporting, they corrected them promptly once I asked about it. We’ve also had to postpone or stop campaigns at times, and they’ve been flexible with that.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Vortex Advertising is great at user acquisition and also helps with integration and other tech-related tasks.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything they need to improve right now.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They deliver. I’m very satisfied because I’m gaining traffic.
