Vermessung & Gutachten Kalb

With a certificate of approval from the Brandenburg State Surveying Office as a publicly appointed surveyor dated 01.07.1997, the surveying office Dipl.-Ing. Matthias Kalb started work on the same day with initially 4 employees in Strausberg, Große Straße 59.

Until the end of the year further 7 employees, among them 3 female employees, were hired. The main focus was on partition and boundary surveys as well as surveys related to construction projects, such as the preparation of official site plans, building stakeouts, ground slab inspections and building surveys.

Customers were public clients as well as private construction companies and building owners. With the growing volume of orders, new fields of activity arose at the same time, so that additional employees could be hired and new tasks could be tackled.

Since 01.08.2001 the surveying office has been located in new premises in Strausberg, Buchhorst 3, so that the spatial conditions could be adapted to the new personnel and technical developments.

Today, about 15 employees work on a wide range of tasks, from sovereign surveys and engineering surveys to the development and maintenance of a geographic information system for various users. Measurement technology, from total stations to satellite technology, is used.

In the years from 2004 onwards, I opened up another field of employment and specialized in the preparation of expert opinions for developed and undeveloped land. For this purpose, I successfully completed a further training course at the University of Freiburg in spring 2011 to become a certified expert (DIA) for the valuation of developed and undeveloped properties.

The surveying office promotes the new generation of employees by training 17 surveying technicians since the office was founded.
