As part of the property tax reform, property owners will be faced with a new process in 2022: they will have to submit a "declaration for the determination of the property value". This will be done online via ELSTER from 01.07.2022.

For this you need the following information:

Location of the property (district, parcel, land parcel)
Property area
Standard land value
Type of building
Living space
The data for the first three points can be found at: https://grundsteuer-geodaten.nrw.de/.

Here you can search for the property in question and find an overview of the location, area and standard ground value with just one click.

The building type and living space, on the other hand, can be found out by looking at your building permit.
