I’m the CEO of Red Cup Village, we’re a 3D printing and manufacturing company. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with User Interface Design GmbH?

Our goal was to develop a new application or manufacturing. We wanted to engage a service provider who understood our vision and give us a clean UI/UX. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, we provided User Interface Design GmbH with briefs and research papers regarding the existing market offerings. Then, we planned the project and conducted a scoping analysis. 

We wanted them to design an interactive UX/UI so that users could see our 3D offerings in a simple, clean way. Since determining the scope of work, the team has used Figma to create UX/UI designs for us.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with 5–6 team members, including a manager, project manager, lead designer, and technical teammates. 

How did you come to work with User Interface Design GmbH?

I found them online while searching for a vibrant, youthful service provider. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $15,000–$18,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2023, and the partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We haven’t launched the designs yet, but I believe the team’s efforts will have a long-term impact on our business. Now that we have a strong partnership with User Interface Design GmbH, we’ve been able to focus on manufacturing rather than design. It’s been nice working with a reliable service provider who delivers what we ask. 

How did User Interface Design GmbH perform from a project management standpoint?

I’m satisfied with how they’ve managed the project. The team has met deadlines, and everything has gone according to plan. Although we’ve faced some shifts in the project, they’ve reprioritized items and accommodated our needs accordingly. They’ve also stuck to the budget we agreed upon. 

We communicate regularly via Slack and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They think on their feet and make the changes we ask for with very minimal back-and-forth, which has saved us time. Also, their ability to capture our vision immediately after briefing them has been incredible. They’ve made an effort to allocate the right resources for our project, which has resulted in team members who are knowledgeable and passionate about our market. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’d like them to create a logo and help expand our areas to incorporate carbon emissions, but right now, they’re focused on designs, which is important.

I recommend knowing what you want, so the team can understand your project and guide you in the right direction.
