- Technical support for the maintenance of the client's intranet site on SharePoint Online in line with the corporate requirements and guidelines. Support for the development, maintenance and update of content for the intranet pages;

As of 2021, Uptalen took over the development in Drupal from scratch and the revamping and maintenance of several institutional sites promoting EU food in foreign markets, including Mexico, India, Japan and South Korea.

They delivered everything on time, although no tight timeframe was defined beforehand. They were very responsive to all questions and managed to answer them within the same day.

I`m the CEO of an IT system integrator and services provider company. We service many industries, including banking, software development, mobile services providers, transportation, governmental, legal, non-profit, financial, and manufacturing.

For what projects/services did your company hire Uptalen, and what were your goals?

We won an important contract and we need extra resources for our inhouse dev team for at least 2 years as long as the contract runs.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Uptalen provided a senior python developer based on our specific requirements.

First we signed an NDA and we spoked with a specialist from Uptalen and explained what we are looking for, the mandatory skills and the nice to have. Uptalen got back after a few days with 4 profiles, all matched our skill set and after the interviews we chose Paul, who was available to start in one week. We signed the contract and started to onboard Paul.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

The team for this project consists from 8 in-house developers and 1 external python developer, Paul, from Uptalen. By the end of the year we foreseen another python developer from Uptalen, for this contract.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The feedback so far is very positive. The fact that they matched us with a great python developer fast and that we can scale anytime without having to spend time and money for recruiting.

For their project management, I have one word — effective!

There are more things that we like, the most important is the communication and that they listen to our feedback, concerns and delivered the best solution we could have.
