Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founding partner of Integrity Matters, an ethics and compliance company. We also provide e-learning training in these areas.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Uply?

We were struggling to gain inbound leads since people weren’t able to find us online. After having communications issues with a local firm, we knew we wanted an experienced, mature team to provide web design and SEO support so we hired Uply.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Uply provides SEO support for our WordPress platform. We gave them a list of 15 keywords and they also implemented meta descriptions on our site’s pages. They use the Yoast plugin to track the SEO efforts, too.  

What is the team composition?

We have a single point of contact, but initially, I worked with three people from their team. 

How did you come to work with Uply?

We saw good reviews about Uply and we were looking to expand within the US market, so they were a good fit. They understood the context of our goals and we knew we’d be able to have a longterm relationship. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $10,000–$25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2019 and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve done a good job. We’ve seen a solid ranking for all of the keywords. We’ve started generating inbound leads, which has surprised us because we’re in a very niche area. We weren’t expecting people to search for us, but now we’re getting a good amount of quality leads. 

How did Uply perform from a project management standpoint?

We receive two reports every Monday. One report explains their progress and the second shows the weekly ranking of all our keywords. We mostly communicate through email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They put in the effort to understand our business at the very beginning. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We had to share keywords for them to optimize, but we would have liked for them to recommend some instead.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear about what you’re looking for and engage with them to achieve it. We were very clear about improving the ranking of 15 keywords, which helps both sides understand the objectives.
