What challenge were you trying to address with UNSHADE SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ?

We engaged UNSHADE to perform routine penetration and security testing of our SaaS application. As part of our regular security practices, we wanted an external team to assess the system, identify potential vulnerabilities, and help us validate that our security measures were working as intended.

What was the scope of their involvement?

UNSHADE conducted penetration testing for two modules of our SaaS application. As part of the engagement, they analyzed the security of these components and delivered a report outlining the identified vulnerabilities along with recommendations on how to address them.

A representative from UNSHADE reached out to me on LinkedIn. At the time, we were planning penetration testing and considering changing providers to get a fresh external perspective, so the timing of their outreach was very good.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November 2024 to January 2025.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The engagement resulted in identifying several security issues and areas for improvement in the tested modules. Based on UNSHADE’s report and recommendations, we were able to address the vulnerabilities and strengthen the overall security of those parts of the application.

How did UNSHADE SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered the work on time and managed the engagement in a well-organized way. Communication was smooth throughout the project, mainly via virtual meetings and email, and they were responsive whenever we had questions or needed clarification.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were very easy to work with. Communication was smooth, and we had good contact with the team throughout the engagement. They approached the project in a professional yet pragmatic way, which made the collaboration straightforward.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are a few areas where improvements could be made, but they relate to internal details of the engagement that I’m not able to disclose publicly. Overall, however, the collaboration was positive and the work delivered met our expectations.
