I’m a personal assistant at LexTerra Global, an international venture builder that scales disruptive technology startups across European markets by streamlining cross-border expansion and compliance.

What challenge were you trying to address with UnionPermits?

We originally looked into standard founder visas for our startup’s European expansion, but the constant renewals and capital requirements were a nightmare. Instead, we hired UnionPermits to secure EU citizenship by descent for two of our co-founders to completely bypass the corporate visa restrictions.

Thanks to UnionPermits, we’ve now incorporated our EU entity without the usual foreigner red tape. They delivered citizenship certificates and status for our co-founders. Everything was delivered on time, and there weren’t any hidden fees.

How did UnionPermits perform from a project management standpoint?

We hit a frustrating three-week bottleneck when our local state department delayed the apostilles on our corporate records, but the lawyers adjusted our submission timeline perfectly so we didn’t lose our consulate appointment. Our primary form of communication was email and messaging apps.

That kind of enviroment affects your mood more than you expect, especially considering how many hours of our life we actually spend at work.
