I am the Creative Director of a wellness and lifestyle brand by the name of Forage Organic. I actively design, plan and produce organic skincare which is sustainable and ecofriendly.

We were launching our brand and needed an organisation that can help us with our online marketing as we have no prior experience in this area. Our goal was to market our products to our consumer base in Pakistan through online channles like Facebook and Instagram and increase our followers, hence increasing our sales.

We have worked with Ejaz before and knew he has the expertise so when we were looking for a vendor and learnt that Ejaz is running his company we decided to approach him. He not only provided us with a good strategy and plan but also it was value for money. So we decided to hire Umbrella Communications for our project.

Facebook followers up from 50 to 1400 Instagram followers up from 10 to almost 500 Increase in sales and brand awareness

Good communication at all times. Staff very approachable and understanding. Working well with our needs.

Their can-do attitude and creative approach with extensive knowledge in the market experience.

overall the company is achieving our goals we have set. however if there could be an area of improvement it could be to further the aspect of personal engagement of the brand's creators.

Due to nature of our business, we do not usually need designing services often so asked around and their name popped up. We spoke to them and liked their design options.

We are into industrial construction and we needed a corporate book with sophisticated and chic design that can be put on the table of senior executives and directors of companies. We asked for designs and it was pretty much downhill form there.

We didn't have any monetary parameters to judge this project on however, this printed document was acclaimed nicely designed by all.

The approach was absolutely coherent with the execution. They made sure everything was in line with our brief

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They knew we didn't have any prior experience of dealing with an ad agency so they treated us the same way. They made it a point to keep us informed at all times of all the steps, kind of educating our team along the way. This was very honest and impressive of them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No complaints so far

We called in a few agencies for this project. Umbrella Communications was finalized on the basis of their understanding of our brief and their approach towards designs.

We shared the brief with them. On the basis of which, and their due research, they reverted with 3 options. We decided on one, asked for few tweaks and it was finalized for artwork delivery.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The idea of this job was to uplift the image of our company as a progressive competitor in its category. We believe we have done that, people have been praising about our new look.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Provided this task was initiated in the midst of the pandemic, I would say it was pretty seamless given the circumstances of WFH & SOPs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

This was a very small job for any agency but Umbrella treated it with the same respect as one does a bigger project. All the standard protocols of the industry were followed properly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I must say our experience with Umbrella has been exceptional. Nevertheless, there is always room for improvement. For instance, they can further extend their team with even better resources.

I am currently the Marketing Manager at R&I Electrical Appliances. We are a leading consumer appliances company of Pakistan. Our brands include Kenwood and Homage.

For what projects/services did your company hire Umbrella Communications, and what were your goals?

We hired the services of Umbrella Communications for the conceptualization and design of our annual corporate calendars and diaries. Our goal was to have the calendar incorporate our products in the theme of the calendar and diaries while also ensuring that the calendars are visually appealing.

How did you select this vendor?

The agency was among recommendations in a marketing group I am a part of. We had a meeting with it and the other agencies to evaluate their work and competencies, after which we shared the project brief with them and 3 other shortlisted agencies.

A project brief was shared with shortlisted agencies as the initial step in which the objectives and concept/design submission deadlines were given. All 4 shortlisted agencies sent their designs/concepts to us as the next step. The concepts were reviewed by the brand team at R&I and 3 were shortlisted from 3 of the agencies. They were then presented to the higher management and finally the design/concept of Umbrella communications was chosen.

One of the good things about working with Umbrella Communications was their level of involvement at the highest level. We would liaison with their Chief Creative Officer Mr. Ajmal Ghaffar and CEO Mr. Ejaz Ahmed.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The First important factor was the timely completion of the project by Umbrella Communications, since calendars and diaries need to be distributed before the start of the year. Apart from this, the agency was also successful in ensuring that our products remain at the core of their designs while making sure that the creatives remain appealing too.

One of Umbrella Communications apparent strengths was their management of timelines. They would constantly update us with the work in progress via emails and occasional zoom meetings. We found them to be very organized and involved in our project right from the start till the very end.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I think there were quite a few positives, to name a few they had quite insightful ideas, were effective in their communication throughout and were efficient in managing the project deadlines.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

To be honest there's nothing much I can complain about, they were very professional.

We connected with them through a reference. We briefed them on our requirements, they shared a few designs and we locked one.

We wanted something to upgrade our brand image for the international markets that we operate in. Our company actively participates in international exhibitions and fairs so we wanted something of the same stature that can be put up against international names of our category.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This particular project was not tied up to our revenue outcomes or even sales. It was more of an equity-building exercise and we received quite decent feedback on it from the market.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Apart from a few minor hiccups, it was quite seamless, I must say. Considering the extensive nature and technical nature of this book, some glitches were bound to happen. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone shopping for a good creative house.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

These guys are new on the block but their level of commitment and involvement was remarkable. Their TAT is amazing and surprisingly quick.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They are new and there's definitely always room for improvement but for our project, they were just the right fit.
