I’m HR manager at Brementech, a full-stack software development firm specializing in scalable architecture, custom API integrations, and enterprise-grade programming solutions.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Anio?

We needed to hire a team of local developers in Mexico and had no entity there, so we turned to Umanium to get them hired legally and compliantly.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We engaged Umanium as our Employer of Record in Mexico to hire a local team without setting up a legal entity. Umanium handled everything including IMSS registration, payroll processing, mandatory benefits, and full labor compliance. The team provides employment contracts, onboarding documentation, monthly payroll reports, digitally signed pay stubs, aguinaldo, vacation tracking, IMSS and Infonavit contribution receipts, state payroll tax payments, REPSE compliance documentation, termination letters and severance calculations, and stamped invoices. The process was straightforward and their team is responsive and highly knowledgeable about Mexican labor law

How did you come to work with Anio?

We found them through an online search. We chose them because they’re a real Mexican EOR provider with a local presence.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Working with Umanium has given us peace of mind knowing our employees in Mexico are properly registered with IMSS (Social Security) and receiving all legally mandated benefits. Umanium has processed payroll accurately and on time every month without errors. We also avoided the cost and complexity of setting up a local entity which would have taken at least six months and significant legal fees — a major saving in both time and money for a company our size.

How did Anio perform from a project management standpoint?

Umanium's project management is straightforward and reliable. They set clear expectations from the start, communicate proactively, and deliver everything on time. We stay in touch via email and messaging apps and things just get done without having to follow up

What did you find most impressive about them?

Honestly what stands out most about Umanium is having direct access to people who actually know Mexican labor law. We never feel like we are dealing with a ticket system or a chatbot. Every time we have a question we get a real answer from someone who understands our specific situation. They are genuinely passionate about what they do and always ready to help, guide and find solutions. That kind of personalized service is hard to find especially from a team that knows the local market as well as they do.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, nothing major comes to mind. The service is consistent and reliable throughout. If anything, a more detailed onboarding guide at the start would have been helpful to understand all the steps involved, but once things are moving, everything runs smoothly.
