UK Steel Group are a family run Steel Stockist, metalwork and welding company based in Ruislip, London, servicing commercial and residential construction needs. Established in 2006 by Mr. Waheed Satti, our work is always custom made to order, supplied and fitted with a high end finish. Whatever your requirements, we are happy to offer professional advice and make design suggestions based on our wealth of experience.
All projects are carefully controlled by our Site Managers. before we start on site a Method Statement is developed including a detailed description of the work procedure, together with the necessary risk assessments. All erectors are fully briefed and committed to the Method Statement before arriving on site. This is reinforced with regular toolbox talks. We never compromise on safety and our Health & Safety Managers carry out regular routine inspections of all our sites.
At UK Steel, we share the aims of the UK Contractors Group (UKCG) in pushing for higher levels of training for site workers. We have a pro-active approach with safety initiatives and in recent times have embraced initiatives such as secondary guarding devices for MEWPs and are working towards “fit to work” certification ahead of UKCG requirements.
