I am the CEO of Step Up, an English language school that used to be based in China but now mostly works in Russia.

What challenge were you trying to address with THE TWONE?

We hired THE TWONE to develop our website and work on our branding.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started with me telling THE TWONE what my expectations were and what we really wanted. I didn’t have a lot of experience in this field, so I relied on them to help me create my presence on the internet and make it more aligned with our brand.

Their team provided me with different options for the design of our website before going into actual development. They utilized Tilda and built the site from scratch, touching a bit on SEO and integrating payment options on the platform itself. 

In addition to that, they also worked on our branding, designed some of our educational material, and created some ads and videos for our YouTube channel. THE TWONE pretty much did everything related to PR and social media as well as everything related to website management.

How did you come to work with THE TWONE?

A friend introduced them to me.

How much have you invested with them?

It was $15,000–$20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement began in August 2020, and all of the major deliverables have been completed. I still contact the team when I need anything or want to make some changes.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

THE TWONE went beyond the scope for us. Our Youtube videos and ad campaigns got good results. Our website received a healthy amount of visitors as well, a good number of whom contacted us directly through that channel.

How did THE TWONE perform from a project management standpoint?

We had no problems with the schedule and budget. THE TWONE let me in on their Trello board, though I am not versed with the tool. We used it to make notes and track our progress. We mostly communicated through text messages, emails, and WeChat.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are nice people who were able to click well and establish a good relationship with us. Some impressive things about them are their team’s flexibility and open-mindedness. I appreciated that they heard out all my ideas to understand the outcome I wanted to reach. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I was pretty happy with their work.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would absolutely recommend THE TWONE to anyone who needs their services. These are people who really love what they do and take every case very seriously, and that is the most important thing. They are experienced but they are not spoiled by their experience, which makes it very comfortable to work with them.
