I formerly worked with a Bermuda-based bank.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Twin City Dwyer Printing?

They handled promotional material printing. We were having trouble finding the quality of work we were looking for with local creative vendors, so we used a service provider in Canada for design work. Then, their team stepped in to do the printing and shipping of products.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had a new product launching, and they helped us do all the printing for mail inserts, in-bank posters, and fliers to be shared at a public event. They served as the printer and shipper to our Canada-based designer.

What is the team composition?

We worked with between 5–10 people.

How did you come to work with Twin City Dwyer Printing?

I’d used them before for other work over the years. When we relocated, we found it hard to find vendors because there was a small pool of options. It seemed like all the local vendors were working with our competitors as well. For the sake of confidentiality, we opted to use vendors in Canada. To make sure the printing would be good quality, we opted to work with a printer in the area to make sure the quality was up to our standards on-site.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $15,000 on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January 2008–2009.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their deliverables were among the best quality printing our company had seen in a long time. Our climate is very humid, so it’s harder to print here, but the quality of their printing was fantastic.

How did Twin City Dwyer Printing perform from a project management standpoint?

They were perfect project managers, and we could be a little high maintenance. We communicated through emails and phone calls.
