Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We needed an updated library of images capturing the patient experience at our hospital. Several new spaces have opened here in the last couple of years and had never been professionally photographed, so a large part of the scope was documenting those areas for the first time. Beyond the spaces themselves, we wanted to show patients, children, and their families actually moving through them, in a way that felt personal rather than staged. The main deliverables were a refreshed set of still images and a library of B-roll footage. The B-roll gives us visual material for events where we want to showcase different areas of the children’s hospital, and both the images and the footage were built to serve philanthropy, marketing, and stewardship needs across our teams.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Turnstone delivered thousands of images and several hours of B-roll covering six areas of the hospital, several of which had never been professionally photographed. Everything came back within two weeks of the shoot. Since delivery, the assets have been used across at least 5 pieces, including our year-end overview, and three teams now pull from the library regularly. The imagery also supported Cheers! for the hospital, our signature event, which draws more than 400 attendees and raises close to half a million dollars each year. That event comes around every November, and this library gives us the material to keep growing both of those numbers.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Turnstone was excellent to work with from a project management standpoint. They were quick to respond every time we reached out, and they delivered everything on time, in some cases ahead of schedule. Whenever we needed to talk something through or make an adjustment, they made themselves available without hesitation. That flexibility mattered in a hospital setting, where plans shift constantly and we needed a partner who could roll with it.

What was your primary form of communication with Turnstone Video Agency?

Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most was how prepared they were before a single photo was taken. They walked into our first meeting with a concept and a storyboard already in hand, then used that as a starting point to push us on the why behind each image. Which spaces mattered, what story we were actually trying to tell, how to stage each shot so it read the way we needed it to. That kind of strategic thinking is rare in a vendor, and it made the shoot days far more efficient because we had already done the hard thinking together.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Turnstone Video Agency could have done differently?

I don’t have any suggestions for improvement. They exceeded my expectations.
