I’m Julie Barber and I set up and manage Translation & Secretarial Services.

I am a Chartered Translator who also has great office experience! Over the years, I have worked for small, medium, and large companies. This includes 18 years working for the board of a subsidiary of the Bouygues Group, a French multinational corporation. It was a bilingual environment where my work included providing executive support and a translation service. I worked alongside the FD & Company Secretary and was responsible for overseeing the Company Secretarial administration of a pool of 23 companies. As a trusted member of staff, I acted as the Secretary to the Ethics committee and the head office Health & Safety committee.

Bilingual and Bicultural –  I was lucky enough to go to university in France for a year! Following that, I spent 5 years in Toulouse and Bayonne and enjoyed French family life for many more years. This means that I soaked up the culture and became bilingual and bicultural. Working for a French corporation in the heart of London gave me a deep insight into French working life and corporate culture.
