Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the chief of staff at Firecrawl, an IT company. We provide web scraping and crawling infrastructure that converts websites into structured, AI-ready data for developers building AI products.

What challenge were you trying to address with TrustyRecruit?

We needed help filling a high volume of open engineering and go-to-market roles quickly. We wanted to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified candidates as we scaled hiring across the company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TrustyRecruit handles candidate sourcing and pipeline generation across our open roles. They work closely with us on both engineering and go-to-market hiring. The main deliverables are a consistent flow of pre-screened, qualified candidates matched to our role requirements. Several of them have advanced through our interview process and have been hired.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The clearest measurable outcome is hires. We’ve brought on several candidates who came through TrustyRecruit’s pipeline. Candidate quality is the main metric, measured by how many of their submissions pass our screen and advance through the interview process. We also track time-to-fill on the roles they support and submission-to-interview conversion as signals of how well-matched their candidates are.

How did TrustyRecruit perform from a project management standpoint?

TrustyRecruit is responsive and easy to work with. They keep a steady flow of candidates coming and deliver consistently without needing to be chased. When we open or reprioritize roles, they move quickly to fill the pipeline. Communication is prompt throughout. We use email and messaging apps to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stands out the most is Vikki (Founder). She clearly takes the time to understand what we’re actually looking for, so the candidates she sends feel genuinely matched to our roles rather than volume for volume’s sake. That combination of responsiveness, quality, and a real investment in getting us the right people makes working with her a pleasure.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, there’s nothing major. If I had to name something, it would be minor. As we scale and reprioritize roles quickly, even tighter alignment on shifting requirements could help. However, that’s as much on our end as theirs. Overall, the experience is excellent.
