VRWein is a company utilizing virtual reality to provide immersive storytelling to authentic products around the world. I am the founder.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Anuvada, and what were your goals?

Localization for the Spanish speaking market in Spanish wine regions. The goal was to develop meaningful relationships with owners and stakeholders in the wine & spirits industry in Spain, build VR experiences to enhance client acquisition and bolster existing relationships through mastery of local language, business practices, and dynamics when engaging prospective B2B clients.

SOLUTION

How did you select Anuvada and what were the deciding factors?

Personal approach and passion drove the creation of a relationship, not just hiring of an outside resource to improve marketing and sales potential. Transparency and thoughtful updating helped me understand client needs and goals, and where they intersected with what my company offers.

Translation of an entire array of VR experiences across Unity and UDK systems for prospective clients who have little tech experience, and successfully conveying nuance of our sales language to ensure nothing was lost in translation.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Jose was the point person, and tasks were delegated to his team wherever appropriate. This is an ongoing partnership.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

It resulted in new clients, even during a pandemic. Beyond that, new prospective clients and a promise to continue to act as a thoughtful intermediary between our operations in Berlin and the clients in Spain.

Each interaction with a prospective client was prefaced by a meeting of key points of information to be conveyed. We communicated via video, email, phone, and no other tools were necessary to achieve the desired result. Closing a deal also had Jose's presence, ensuring the language was plain and agreeable to all parties.

The personal touch Jose offered was welcome and helpful. Our interactions were as I had hoped they'd be — nothing lost in translation and passion conveyed effectively.
