I’m the founder of Omegavus and we create algorithms and design systems for educated traders.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Trade Above, LLC?

We needed someone to provide us with software automation for our fund management algorithm.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’re building a fully-automated fund management algorithm tool and Trade Above is providing us with the automation aspect of the development. 

We initially discussed the concept with them and broke down the milestones of the project. He then started recreating the toolset in a certain way and delivered the first version of it but since it’s a software, the work is never-ending — so we’ve been working together diligently since then.

What is the team composition?

We’re only working with the owner of the company.

How did you come to work with Trade Above, LLC?

One of my colleagues I reached out to on LinkedIn actually referred Trade Above to me.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $50,000 USD so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

The ongoing partnerships started in November 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The work that they do has been exceeding our expectations. They’re extremely knowledgeable and they’re always providing the product with ongoing upgrades — the feedback from customers has also been incredibly positive. 

How did Trade Above, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?

This is a big project and based on the timelines, they work very fast. There have been some limitations and complexities on the scope so that’s why we’ve expanded into a year-long partnership.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their level of knowledge and humbleness. If we need something, they give us a very detailed orientation of their opinion and open our eyes to different solutions.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only limitation to our partnership is the latency of their other smaller projects, but we completely understand that they have to accomplish those in order to keep the business running. It would be great for them to focus on one project at a time, but that would be unfair due to the fact that we’re working with their company as a service.

Other than that, there’s nothing they could improve on. Hopefully, we could be in a better financial situation where we can hire them on a full-time basis, but that’s not the case at the moment.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice is to just be extremely detailed in the scope of the work.
