Their linguists are very professional. I needed a translation for a poetry book written in rhymes with a specific melody. I'm the executive assistant for a small health care district in San Diego County and run the Zoom meetings for the board and committees.

For what projects/services did your company hire Tomedes Ltd, and what were your goals?

We hired Tomedes for translation of board and committee agendas, packets and minutes since last year. We also have an interpreter at our regular meetings, and occasionally at public hearings and committees.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found them through a Google search and plan to use their services for one year until we determine if our Spanish-speaking population has a need.

Our documents and meetings have very little legal or healthcare jargon since we sold our hospital. We have a health and wellness center now with all types of events and classes, mostly from our non-profit agencies in our three towns. We try to keep our documents easy for our residents to read.

Document translation is charged by word count. Interpretation is charged by the hour with a minimum charge of 30 minutes per project.
