Jim began his career as a staff tax accountant with the Indiana CPA firm Dauby, O'Connor & Zaleski, LLC and then later moved to California with the CPA firm Carpenter, Petersen and Associates in Lake Forest, CA. And is now the Controller for 4 companies that own and operate 25 Carl's Jr. restaurants.
Jim earned a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, majoring in Business with a concentration in Accounting and Computer Information Systems.
Jim is active in a number of professional organizations including the California CPA Society the National Enrolled Agents Association and the California Society of Enrolled Agents.
