Thomas Marine is one of the finest metal fabrication and welding shops in the San Diego Area known by customers as the "Metal Jewelers". We have established the reputation with a professional, knowledgeable staff, dedicated to the customers' needs. We are proud to have a long list of satisfied customers.
The driving force behind Thomas Marine is Brian Thomas. He is a native San Diegan, raised in Point Loma and graduated from Point Loma High School in 1966. Brian graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management in 1971.
Brian started in 1965 designing and building the fastest racing sabots ever made. Brian's passion is still Design, using his talents to produce projects that are Artistic, Functional and Strong. Whether it is a Bow Pulpit for a Sail Boat or a Railing for a Custom Home or the Installation of an Exhibit in a Museum it must artfully fit the lines of its environment. Brian is creative, inventive and artistic.
This year Brian Thomas celebrates 45 years in business. Brian is looking forward to the next 45 with equal passion.
Thomas Marine was started in 1971 by Brian Thomas.
By 1978, Thomas Marine made it's successful venture into the custom metal fabrication business in the Shelter Island Area serving Racing Sail Boats, Power Boats and Cruising Sail Boats. The business soon expanded to Custom Homes, Public Art, Scientific, Research and Environmental Projects. Thomas Marine builds anything out of metal, expertly designed, using the highest quality materials and skilled craftsmen.
