Th3rdEyeXR was established by th3rd coast Media Solutions’ co-founders Joseph Van Harken and Jeff Joanisse when they noticed a gap in enterprise news coverage for the field of extended reality (XR): the catchall industry term encompassing virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR). While many sites cover XR, most of it is geared towards gaming, entertainment or the general consumer. Th3rdEyeXR, on the other hand, specifically targets the interests of an enterprise audience: providing insights on development, trends, and practical use cases. Ultimately, we strive to raise the professional community’s base-level understanding of XR so they can harness and implement the power of this immersive and emerging technology to transform business operations, improve products and create a better future for all.
