I’m the president of an online retail private label company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ted Brooks Creative?

We needed product photography and videos for our products. Amazon offers the opportunity to have a short video of your products on the listings. We wanted to show something besides pictures for our coffee sleeves, which was our main item.

Ted Brooks Creative did photos and an amazing custom video for our coffee sleeve products. He handled everything from the timing and the pre-production to the filming and the post-production.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $1,300 with him so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2020, and the engagement is ongoing; we use him when we have new designs.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

A good indicator for us is that our competition uses the same ideas for the photos and videos. It feels like our product has set the mold for what everyone uses now. It’s kind of a pain, but imitation is a great form of flattery.

How did Ted Brooks Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through Jungle Scout marketplace messages. There was never the need for a meeting; he caught our vision from the start.

What did you find most impressive about them?

He is creative and has a great eye for detail. He went to cinematography college, and it shows — I was blown away by the video he made for us. He puts a great creative touch on everything.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything he can improve on.

Any advice for potential customers?

I’d recommend them to have an idea of what they want and prepare for it. I’ve gone unprepared for some projects before, and they didn’t come out the way I was expecting because I wasn’t 100% clear of what I was looking for.
