We worked with TEC from the bottom up, starting with a visual identity that could serve the company before we had fully refined our marketing messages. We wanted a fresh approach within the defense industry, a distinctive look that would stand out and the flexibility to work across multiple marketing channels. Together, we built a rich, engaging visual identity, and we are now finalizing our strategic messaging.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The scope of work covered a **full organisational rebrand, the design and development of a new website, and ongoing marketing, communications and digital support** over an extended period. The rebrand included the development of a new brand identity and positioning, including visual identity, logo, colour palette, typography, brand guidelines, messaging and a range of supporting branded assets and templates. The website project covered the full process from initial strategy and planning through to design, development and launch. Key deliverables included information architecture, UX/UI design, content structure and migration, development of key pages and functionality, integration of donation capabilities, mobile optimisation, testing, troubleshooting and post-launch support. Alongside the rebrand and website, the work included ongoing marketing and communications strategy, social media and digital content, campaign development, creative assets and marketing materials, as well as support in translating organisational activities and impact into clear external-facing communications. The engagement concluded with the successful launch of the new brand and website, together with a structured handover to enable ongoing internal management of the website, brand and communications.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project resulted in the successful development and rollout of a **completely new brand identity and digital presence**, providing the organisation with a consistent and professional platform for future growth. Measurable outcomes included the completion and implementation of a full rebrand across digital channels and communications materials; the successful launch of a new, fully responsive website; migration and restructuring of organisational and programme content; and the introduction of integrated online donation functionality, creating a more streamlined user journey. The project also significantly increased internal capacity, with brand assets, templates and website management transferred to the internal team, reducing reliance on external support for day-to-day updates and content creation. Overall, the project delivered a cohesive brand and digital infrastructure that is now actively in use across the organisation’s website, communications, social media, fundraising and external engagement.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Project management was very strong throughout the engagement. Timelines and deliverables were clearly communicated in advance, with realistic expectations set around each stage of a project, and agreed deadlines were consistently met. The team was also highly responsive and flexible when our needs changed. They were able to accommodate ad hoc requests, last-minute changes and urgent pieces of work when required, while still keeping larger projects on track. Communication was clear and regular throughout, and we always had a good understanding of progress, next steps and expected delivery dates.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most was their ability to take what could sometimes feel like a lot of ideas, moving pieces and general chaos, and translate it into exactly what we were trying to achieve – often understanding the vision even before we had fully articulated it ourselves. They genuinely believed in our organisation and what we were trying to build, and that came through in the level of thought, care and commitment they brought to the work. They never felt like an external agency or service provider, but rather an extension of our own team who understood our goals, challenged us when needed, and were genuinely invested in getting the best possible result.

Are there any areas for improvement or something TEC Studio could have done differently?

The main area for improvement would be additional capacity within the TEC team. Having more team members available could help move certain projects and deliverables forward even faster, particularly during particularly busy periods or when multiple pieces of work are running simultaneously. That said, this would only enhance what is already a very strong offering. The quality of the work, responsiveness and level of commitment were consistently high, so for us it would simply be about having more capacity to deliver more of that, faster.
