### Launching a Reimagined L. A. Fashion Week
The goal was to raise awareness of the newly reimagined Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW) among haute couture designers and devoted followers of fashion.  We designed and executed a digital media strategy teasing the event in key markets across the USA and abroad. Our media efforts resulted in over 26M impressions across paid social and digital display.  The brand reported over 250MM total people reached across social and digital, which included paid and organic results. In addition to press coverage, the campaign received a lot of engagement and buzz across social media.


### Digital Media Drives Sales Pre/Post Release
The goal was to raise awareness of Tears for Fears’ album, The Tipping Point, amongst existing and potential fans; drive views, streams, and sales during pre- and post-release.
 
Our team recommended multiple digital media tactics utilizing video and display strategies to reach potential fans of Tears for Fears in the US.  we included paid social throughout both phases where existing engagement was heavily taking place and leveraged our retargeting capabilities.  Additionally, we employed video strategies across Connected TV and YouTube.  Once the album was released, we incorporated a sales strategy to drive purchases on Amazon.
 
The album reached No. 8 on the US Billboard 200 chart and was ranked No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Alternative & Rock Album chart.  The Tipping Point debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart.


### Linear & CTV Work Together
Our goal was to raise awareness of Adele’s fourth studio album, 30, among existing and potential fans; drive streams, pre-orders and sales.  We recommended a combination of Connected TV and Linear (traditional) TV to reach existing and potential fans when and where they were watching their favorite video programming.
 
The single, “Easy On Me,” broke Spotify’s record for most streams in a single day in less than 24 hours and quickly became Billboard‘s number 1 song on the Hot 100.  In addition, Adele’s 30 spent eight consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart, the most weeks in a row at No. 1 since 2014.  Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart ranks the top-selling albums of the week based only on traditional album sales.  30 and “Easy on Me” have earned numerous Grammy nominations, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album.


### Campaign Supports LGBTQ+ Communities
The goal was to raise awareness and generate crowd-funding of the 2021 “Queer to Stay” LGBTQ Business Preservation Initiative during Pride Month.  In partnership with the agency of record, we planned, purchased, and coordinated placement and installation of hand-painted outdoor murals in key, well-trafficked locations in Los Angeles and New York City neighborhoods. These uniquely sized, multi-colored engaging pieces also included a new crowdfunding feature to enable viewers to support the initiative through the end of the year.
 
The unique and colorful murals increased awareness and received added attention from online & broadcast news media. The campaign doubled its financial support to 20 businesses.


### Increasing Awareness Using Cross-Channel Tactics for Social Cause
Our mission was to activate, engage and educate national & international markets through high impact placements for Be Fair Be Vegan’s purpose – animal equality and the end of all animal use.


### TEC Drives Streams with Global Outdoor Campaign
TEC Direct Media planned and executed several strategic outdoor locations for Universal Music Latin Entertainment to deliver maximum reach and drive streams of J. Balvin and Bad Bunny’s collaborative album, Oasis.  The album debuted at #1 on Billboard's US Top Latin Albums chart, and at #9 on the all-genre US Billboard 200.


### Digital Strategy Drives Streams and Sales
Our label client, Universal Music Enterprises, wanted to increase awareness and drive streams and sales of the Original Broadway Cast Recording, Ain’t Too Proud — The Life and Times of The Temptations.  
The campaign required varied local and national executions to support the different phases of promotion.  The tiered digital campaign worked effectively to drive streams and sales of digital and physical copies.


### Driving University Enrollment
TEC Direct Media designed, tested, and rolled out a programmatic advertising campaign that drove online applications. Our results helped the University learn more about their core audience and acquisition costs.  They now plan and budget more strategically for online enrollment.  The campaign was so successful we were asked to develop a solution to drive ticket sales for the University’s Athletic Department.


### Multi-Media Campaigns for International Artist
Our various multi-media campaigns reached audiences across the globe driving traffic and views of artist YouTube content, event tune-in and increased Grammy voter consideration. The campaigns delivered millions of video views and produced strong online engagement.


### Driving Streams and Downloads of ‘A Star is Born’ Soundtrack
TEC Direct Media secured high profile inventory surrounding the release date of the 'A Star is Born' soundtrack, to drive streams and downloads.
According to Nielsen, “A Star Is Born posted the biggest week for a soundtrack in three and a half years, with a debut of 231,000 equivalent album units earned. The set is the second best-selling album of 2018, with sales exceeding 700,000 and has surpassed 1.1 million in album equivalent consumption when including track sales and on-demand audio stream equivalents.”
 


### OOH Activation Strategy Drives Online Engagement
Rhino Records hired TEC Direct Media to help promote the newly remastered and expanded version of The Smiths’ The Queen is Dead: Deluxe Edition in a creative and unique way, utilizing outdoor media.  The campaign became a huge success as it generated conversations online across multiple social channels.
