What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Wojciech, the In-Teams delivery manager, is incredibly diligent and is committed to ensuring tasks are completed. In this context, I've always found interactions with In-Team to be both streamlined, light, and effective. We were able to move very fast, and adapt accordingly, rather than having to discuss in advance too many details.

Are there any areas for improvement or something IN Team could have done differently?

In-Team always seeks ways to improve, and have a process for ensuring the collaboration is going according to expectations. For that reason, it is hard to find an area of improvement that is not already taken care of.

What challenge were you trying to address with IN Team?

We brought on IN Team for outsourcing. We wanted to find the right people to do front- and backend development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We were looking for two frontend developers and two backend developers. We put together a profile, and IN Team searched in the market and within their internal team. Our team defined the requirements needed for the frontend development with IN Team. We sat down together before the project started. Their team was involved in choosing the right technology and then matching the right people to those requirements.

In the end, they chose Angular for the frontend technology. IN Team already had people who were skilled in Angular. Their team handled the vetting and interview process. We had a small interview with each of the candidates to see if they’d fit in with the team socially. They were working remotely last year, but now they’re working here in our office.

I work directly with Kamil (Founder & Team Leader).

How did you come to work with IN Team?

Someone I personally knew was in contact with developers on their team. He vouched that those developers were doing a phenomenal job. We gave IN Team a call and expressed we wanted to meet up to see if they could engage with us. Kamil was a very good contact from the beginning. We liked working with him.

Our ongoing engagement started around June 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We used an agile process for development and successfully achieved what we planned to do. One thing that was exceptional from the beginning was that Kamil himself was a frontend developer. He’s got a lot of technical skill as well. He was involved in our weekly meetings.

It wasn’t only our team that was keeping track of the progress, Kamil was as well. He took care of seeing that his team members were doing what they should and operating at the level needed. We took an informal and simple approach. We’ve received exactly what we wanted, which was to offload all that responsibility.

How did IN Team perform from a project management standpoint?

We usually communicate through emails and occasional phone calls. Kamil is always reachable.

What did you find most impressive about them?

For us, Kamil is the reason why we've stuck with IN Team over the years. He is very trustworthy and follows through on his promises. This is extremely important to us and has built a lot of trust in our partnership. Throughout our engagement there were natural situations that required intervention or optimization and the way that Kamil reacted — proactively and professionally — always solved any issues to our satisfaction.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, currently, I wouldn’t change anything.

Product owner at a neuromarketing start-up, focusing building AI driven SaaS products for marketing professionals.

For what projects/services did your company hire InFront, and what were your goals?

We hired InFront to help us develop multiple MVPs and combining them on a SaaS platform. The goal is to create an intuitive and seamless SaaS platform supporting tasks surrounding content creation and ideation. A key focus for the development is the integration of several endpoints and close collaboration with our data science team.

How did you select InFront and what were the deciding factors?

InFront approached us, and we started working on a trial basis. After a convincing trial period we expanded our collaboration. Convincing factors where their flexibility and broad range of skills which they proactively offered. Great communication and a mutual understanding sealed the deal.

First we had a scope meeting, assessing what capabilities InFront could offer, laying out the scope of your project and discussing what resources would be needed. They came back with a short-list of developers that would match the requirements.

After 2 Interviews we had a match and started with a detailed briefing. Based on the requirements, the choice fell on using the React framework. Wireframes were provided and key deliverables in the form of commits where pushed (bi-)weekly.

We engaged 2 junior front-end developer, one at a time. For a specific part of our product InFront provided a senior full-stack developer on short notice.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The delivered code is of high quality, building a great foundation for further development. The platform already serves internal purposes and was released to a defined set of customers.

They effectively assess a project and allocate the matching resources, which gives confidence that you are in good hands. Issues and tasks are handles proactively and communication stands on a firm ground of mutual understanding and goals. You are not hiring an external resource, but you are gaining a team member.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As a growing team of experienced and starting developers they live and foster their skills as a community. We've started with 2 junior developers that developed greatly and had access to their team of experienced peers. Their flexibility allowed us to customize our engagement to the ever-changing requirements of the startup world.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can say that I am a happy customer. Though with changing requirements and quite a complex technology to deal with, not all set timeframes have been met. We sorted our learnings and grew for the next challenges.

I am responsible for software development in Pretius. We are a software development and IT consulting company. We deliver IT solutions to corporate customers from telco, energy, media and financial markets.

For the last few years we’ve been building CRM solution for one of our Clients from the telecommunication industry. We engaged InFront to implement a new front-end interface.

What were your goals for this project?

The main goal of the project was to redesign the system architecture to create a base for further development, along with the reconstruction of the system, it gained a new modular user interface built in React technology.

How did you select this vendor?

We had known InFront before. Their front-end development expertise was a good fit for this project.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Project has a key value to our client, as it supports its sales. It is used by thousands of workers in Poland, who deal with the customers in terms of providing information regarding their subscriptions (call centers), as well as those who sign a new contract with a client (dealers in points of sales). Initially we had the system front-end layer written in Angular.js. We decided to rewrite it to React and InFront developers extended our internal team to create front-end architecture from scratch. What is more, they helped us create a library of shared front-end components and UI style guide for other vendors as there are modules of the system created by external teams.

What was the team composition?

It changed in time but we have worked with 3 to 5 front-end developers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Though still in the final stages, the new UI works well and we’ve had very good customer feedback, which is the best compliment we can get. Our client has ordered new modules and our cooperation is ongoing.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We work in an agile approach with daily standups and weekly meetings. We work closely with PO from our client and business people on their site. We basically treat them like our employees. We want to get them into the process and not just outsource our work. As a result, our people are more committed to the work and understand the business better.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I really like their agile approach and fast response time from their coordinator. They have marshaled additional resources to accelerate certain stages as necessary. Developers who joined us understood our goals, and we quickly felt they were a part of our team. We were impressed by their knowledge and experience in developing large, modular applications.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Currently, I have no issues with them. All of our concerns were both small and eliminated during the first month of our partnership.

I’m a project manager for a backend-focused computer software company. Recently, we’ve ventured into the big data and machine learning industries.

What challenge were you trying to address with InFront?

We have an internal backend team and were focusing on the algorithmic side of a machine learning project. The customer requested that we deliver a frontend as well, but we didn’t have resources with the proper experience. As a result, we started looking for a frontend development firm to provide the required services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our internal team designed some initial wireframes that demonstrated what we needed regarding features and detailed the frontend’s primary focus. We provided InFront with mock-ups during early project discussions. They supplied us with a team that performed code development, technical design, end-to-end testing, and proper unit testing. Their resources built out the platform’s frontend.

What is the team composition?

They allocated a development lead and six other people. We grew the team gradually and I find it amazing that InFront could support us with exactly the resources we wanted.

How did you come to work with InFront?

When we learned that our client wanted to have the entire project done with us, including the frontend, we started looking for vendors that could help deliver. We conducted research and interviewed multiple firms. InFront proved to have the most experience and genuinely wanted to be a part of this project. We started a discussion about what was to be done, the flexibility we needed, and what they could provide. We’re not a frontend company, but we had enough experience to recognize the partner we wanted. That’s how we decided to hire InFront.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $150,000 thus far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2017 and the engagement is ongoing. They finished the initial portion of the project, but we plan to keep them onboard for at least another six months.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m happy about our collaboration with InFront and the quality of their work. They’re willing to understand our needs, project challenges, and the client’s point of view. Their level of involvement helped us better define the technology requirements. Not only is their code quality extremely high, but the team they’ve assigned to our account is excellent.

How did InFront perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re proactive communicators and are capable of quickly augmenting an assigned team to match the required workflows. Their QA work allows us to take advantage of new features we may not have otherwise requested. They also never ask for deadline extensions. They worked on-site for the most part, but Slack is our first choice when working remotely.

What did you find most impressive about them?

At least for now, InFront isn’t a large company and I find that valuable. Their size allows for a lot of flexibility and that sets them apart from similar companies. It’s probably their biggest strength aside from having access to expert-level developers. With InFront, I’m able to customize each contract to best reflect our needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing about our experience stands out as an issue. We’ve had some discussions with their developers regarding availability, but we eventually agreed on the hours we needed.

I'm the co-founder of ExeMed. Our company’s mission is to provide healthcare with reliable, high precision systems for remote ECG monitoring of cardiac patients. Our product, PulseGrid, ensures permanent, real-time, remote monitoring of ECG of patients. It includes long-term registration by a Holter monitor for up to 30 days per device.

For what projects/services did your company hire InFront?

PulseGrid consists of portable measuring devices and a central system that collects and analyses data. All the results are available to view through the web application. We hired InFront’s developers to build the entire front-end layer.

What were your goals for this project?

Our primary goal was to build an app that works smoothly, presents vast amounts of data in a user-friendly way, and functions as an official medical product.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

My friend recommended working with InFront, especially their senior developer.

In the beginning, we conducted a user experience research phase that InFront’s senior developer coordinated. Later on, he prepared the web app architecture and defined an initial communication protocol to achieve our primary objective of presenting ECG data in real time. 

InFront’s team built a functional web app using Angular, Bootstrap, and libraries that support WebSocket communication. They’re still involved in development for additional modules.

What was the team composition?

Usually, we work with a team of two engineers. We scaled our frontend team up to three developers last month to build a new Holter module. InFront’s frontend developers work in our Warsaw office, while the backend developers work remotely from different Polish cities.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since PulseGrid is our only product, InFront’s support with building the web application was crucial for our business. Now, we can offer a fully developed solution for our clients.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have an in-house project manager and backend leader. InFront provides frontend leadership. They have a daily check-in on Slack to make sure everything is progressing properly. When they want to be more engaged, they schedule a Skype call to discuss features in more detail. InFront’s team generally requires very little oversight.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The quality of InFront’s work is excellent. We’ve never come across significant problems. Every development project is bound to have some bugs, but they fix any issues that arise promptly and effectively. 

An external medical institute tested our product. We had some frontend issues connected to drawing high-frequency data and the speed of drawing. InFront carefully thought through the problem before jumping into a solution. In the end, they helped us pass the required tests and secure medical certification for our product. It conforms to Directive 93/42/EEC.

Are there any areas for improvement?

In the beginning, our communication with the remote back-end team could have been better. It’s working well now, though, and nothing specific comes to mind that needs work.

I’m a manager for an international consulting company. I lead a team of consultants and software developers to build software for banks. One of our products is an internal system that helps manage financial risk. Users install the software on-premise and utilize it to prepare regulatory reports.

What challenge were you trying to address with InFront?

About two years ago, we decided to change the architecture of our software and migrate it to a new technology stack. We wanted to have a single-page application (SPA) as the frontend of our system. However, we didn’t have any internal developers who were familiar with an SPA approach, so we reached out to an external company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, they provided a single developer who prepared our system’s frontend architecture before selecting the appropriate tools and technologies for implementation. This included Bootstrap and Aurelia, which is a model-view-viewmodel (MVVM) framework. Afterward, he developed the core mechanics.

Since then, we’ve hired two more developers to support the frontend, and they continue to add new features. We typically give them the technical requirements and explain how the interface should look. From there, they handle the implementation and testing.

We currently work with three developers.

We were looking for an experienced developer who was skilled enough to design the whole frontend architecture. Out of all the interviews conducted, we liked the resource from InFront the most. In our opinion, he was the most professional.

Their work started in May 2016 and is going. We plan to continue working with them for another year as we’re still adding features to the software.

While I don’t have any hard metrics, in general, their resources are very skilled and professional. The team quickly grasped everything they needed to know about our financial system, and they’ve only gotten better as the project progressed. If there are any bugs, they promptly address them.

Since they work with us at our offices, we’re able to communicate with them consistently. We manage the project using an agile approach, which involves daily stand-ups, bi-weekly planning, and refinement.

Their technical skills are exceptional compared to other local developers on the market. They’re also very flexible as a company. When I requested additional support for a few months, they responded quickly and assigned a developer in a matter of days.

High flexible - we work collaboratively and in team engineers work seamlessness with onshore resource. At leadership level there is a good open conversation about how to ensure things remain efficient from both sides.

Everyone cares about delivering the outcomes we are building for. Communication is very good (we try to meet up twice a year if possible too) and it's a fun and productive working relationship

After contacting them to check if they have developers available to meet our requirements, we started initially with a team of several people as a PoC. The main deciding factors in choosing IN Team were good experience from our previous work together and flexibility.

Initially IN Team provided us with a team of several developers that worked under our technical leader. We were happy with their work, as they were effectively a part of our internal development team.

Over time the number of IN Team developers in our team scaled, as we prepared to build new products and expand on the functionalities of the existing ones. The cooperation is still ongoing with their developers being excellent support in a variety of projects.

At first we discussed with IN Team our requirements in terms of developers skills and experience. They presented us with a pool of candidates, from which we shortlisted a few developers and invited them to a technical interview with our team. This recruitment process is still the same in our ongoing cooperation.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the beginning of our work together in 2017, we managed to release a dozen updated versions of existing applications, as well as build a few major products from scratch. One of them is an easy to use, flexible software for financial reporting that is used extensively by our customers across the globe. As we are happy with the performance of developers provided by IN Team, we constantly expand their team.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

IN Team developers are open to work both in office and remotely. Communication with them is flawless, as we treat IN Team like a part of our internal team. We use an agile approach to manage the project, with daily stand-ups, planning and refinement involved.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are one of the best IT team extension companies we’ve worked with so far. Their mix of experience and flexibility is really something unique. It made scaling our team easy by delivering reliable developers with a proven commercial track record in a short time.

I don’t see any clear areas for improvement as we are pleased with the results of our work together. We plan to continue collaboration with the IN Team for the foreseeable future.

I’m the co-founder of a startup that offers innovative language learning packages to various companies. Our app has a database of almost a thousand language teachers that teach over 30 different languages. It is a monthly subscription where employees can learn anytime they chose. Their team delivered a high-quality application. We’ve made several presentations to clients and users. They’ve commented on the application’s ease of use and the concept itself. We’ve received positive feedback and are currently planning the next version of the app for web and a mobile version. We want to work with InFront on both.

InFront is full of timely and organized employees that are readily accessible. They work remotely, but we met once a week in our office. They are flexible when we propose new ideas or change the scope of work.
