The team has implemented multiple generic technical components such as the GDPR framework and CI/CD pipeline. These are used across the entire organization. Other than that the engineers have implemented multiple pipelines, both batch and streaming types, enabling gathering insights from our data and driving smarter decisions.

The vendor team was well integrated with our internal team. The onboarding and collaboration was smooth since both technical and communication skills of the team were very good.

A kickoff meeting between TantusData and our internal Data team was enough to set up the scope for cooperation. We were looking to optimise areas like hero image selection or accommodation scoring for certain use scenarios. TantusData neatly integrated their senior engineer in our team for the duration of the project. TantusData identified and implemented the right supervised learning approach to each problem, including both regression and classification algorithms as well as NLP and deep learning.

We've seen a measurable improvement in a several case, in some specific cases the improvement on baseline was as high 10% which was more than we expected at the start of the cooperation.

The second step involved creating real time processing. For this a switch was made from in-memory to redis storage. This ensured low latency.
